The France story gets better and better. The entire squad refused to train today.
Good lord, looks like a full on mutiny now. The team director has resigned and the coach threw his accreditation away.

It looks like to me that Domenech had better resign today, else I don't think he'll have any players for their next game. If Domenech goes, the players will probably come back.
So the Kiwis got an offside goal allowed and the girls in blue a very, very, Italian style cheap penalty.
Except the New Zealand goal wasn't offside.
obviously i am blind ... Reid hit the ball and in that situation it was offside regardless if cannavaro hits the ball later
and Hellmut Krug, former world cup 94 and euro 96 referee says the same
I played it over a couple of times frame by frame in EyeTv and it looks to have come off the Italian defender's head. Reid's head was behind his. Correct call imo.
So, as England fans, do we feel better now knowing Italy have had a worse start than us?
Today's predictions:
Italy 1-1 New Zealand (Now this is optimistic)
Like seriously. Did any of the top teams actually practice for the World Cup?

Lippi picked an old team and left good players out of the squad. Other than in defence England are at full strength and still cant win a game. So, as England fans, do we feel better now knowing Italy have had a worse start than us?
It might have got off to a slow start, but in my humble opinion this is turning into a very entertaining tournament – as much for what's happening off the pitch as on it.
France. Heh.![]()
EDIT: 2-0.. using his hands.. twice :-/
I was just going to say myself that Keita's reaction was very Rivaldo-esque...Kaka red card = karma for Rivaldo in 2002?
