Geez, I'm sensing just one of those through balls to Pedro to make it through is all it's going to take. But then then Germans are just waiting for the quick counter attack, so this game can turn in an instant!

he did touch him: but not enough... with a bad referee it could have gone wrong though

that aside: what have we seen ? a puyol header, two long shots,a guy running over the pitch, pedro being great replacement for torres, trochwoski being a weak one for Müller

the rest: spain dominated/clogging up the center midfield with playmakers, germany fast to counterattack

a rather meh game so far

One of those.... was it or was it not?
Ramos did touch his leg... but surely not enough for a penalty, right?
Well, the fact football (especially in the penalty box) is becoming a no contact sport, I'd say yes. It seems if you touch a player now, it's a foul, rather than actually fouling a player and because of the force he gets knocked over. Never happened in my day, bunch of big girls blouses!

That was never a penalty.

Very few tackles in the match so far, let alone actual fouls.

Everyone's being pretty conservative, especially Germany. Actually, Germany has looked a little nervous, especially Özil. Spain probably should not be sending crosses into the box, where Villa is all alone against the giant German back line.

I thought this would be a 3-2 game. Now it's looking 1-0 unless tactics change pretty drastically. No clue who will score the 1...
