Both sides have missed good chances, but Italy look more threatening. The Italians' finishing has been poor though.
Young has had a fairly weak tournament as a whole.
England are definitely giving the ball away too often. But apart from that I think Roy has got them playing as well as can be expected.

Italy don't deserve to win it either, really. They have been a little better than England but they don't look very dangerous either.
Someone should have scored by now.
England passing has definitely been poor. I think Roy has the team set up right but the players are struggling badly at Passing 101.
Parker and Gerrard are playing very deep, giving Italy a lot of space in midfield.

Our giving away possession has been a problem in this tournament, but fortunately we're still in it. I've stuck a quid or two on each game but I didn't tonight as I really couldn't call it, and that hasn't changed after 90 minutes.

I don't think that either of these teams could beat the Dutch, that's how bad they are.
Germany will completely maul whoever wins this game. It won't even be a contest. Aside from the gap in quality, Germany will have only had to play 90 minutes in their previous match and will have two days extra rest.
EDIT: Shock news - Ashley Young just dived and got an Italy player yellow carded.
What we're seeing is two similar teams cancelling each other out, but I agree that if Germany play to their best they should make it through. But we'll see how tonight goes first.I don't think that either of these teams could beat the Dutch, that's how bad they are.

If England does pull it off joe hart best be kissing the goal posts for the wonderful assists tonight.
Edit: if those goes to penaltys I expect to see numerous and ridiculously wide placed shots.

I've been hearing all week that we'll be fine on penalties because we've got Joe Hart. That conveniently ignores the fact that Italy have Gigi Buffon...
