Add the Netherlands - make that the final, they're obliging.

Edit - Cameron - is there more than 3 or 4 lines? Can't see why people are getting the hump if it is just the 'consideration...role models' business. Of course RAWK are going to email Sepp re political interference. I must thank them one day, they have provided a lot of comedy - today in particular.

Cheers,

Madrid also blowing it. The Germans are taking no prisoners. Wenger please bring Lewandowski to the Emirates whatever it takes...not that it'll ever happen. But one can dream.

No, he needs to link up with Kagawa - definitely not Gotze. :)

History; which fans started the raised arms and hands shaking at corners?

Somewhat puts things in perspective for English clubs. City had a finalist and semi-finalist in their group. Utd drew a semi-finalist and almost put them away but for a red card. Arsenal drew a finalist and beat them on their own turf but exit on away goals.

Wow, i knew Dortmund could be a bad matchup for Madrid, especially since they couldn't beat them in the group phase, didn't expect a 4-1 tho, So much for La Liga being the best there is...

Dortmund really played a perfect game on all of their lines except on that play by Hummels.

Madrid couldn't find much of anything

you can still bet 100 bucks that the FIFA is going to put 11 La Liga players into the FIFPro World XI squad for the 2013 year ;) .. because they somehow are were unable to nominate any Bundesliga player ... ever

I'd say this game has recompensed me for not being able to see the Bayern-Barca match on TV :D
Comparing it to the scenes in the summaries, I'd say the Dortmund goals were nicer (and "fairer", if one can say that). (Also I prefer goals evolving from the playing over standards, i.e. Bayern's corners. Well, I know that identifies me as a non hobby-expert-watcher and not being able to appreciate the art of doing good corners ;)).

You have to think Real are still in it with that away goal, but more and more its looking like an all-German final...and on paper a cakewalk for Bayern since they've already beaten Dortmund twice (I think) in the league.

On the one hand it's fine for him to answer a question put to him by the media about Suarez. But on the other hand when it comes to political interference and sport Cameron has a pretty awful track record.

RAWK and the LUHG folk could make a good comedy team I suppose.

i have only watched the cup game but that was nailbiter right to the end ... both teams were rather equal
in the Bundesliga Dortmund lost their points rather against the lower teams (HSV for example)

guess which Bundesliga opponents Dortmund & Bayern will face on the weekend following next weeks CL games ? .. ;)

but neither is through yet ... Barcelona likes to score a lot on their own turf and so does Real ... their problem is still the same as before today's game: i can't see them not conceding a goal. The german squads are excellent on the counter attack and, after watching those 2 games, seemed to be not nearly as tired

I expect both Spanish teams to win their second leg matches...but neither will win by a big enough margin to go through. I can easily see Barca winning 4-1 or 3-0 for example. Bayern know that all they need to do is avoid getting their butts kicked.

with an early goal in the first 10-15 minutes it might be possible but it will be a dangerous game over 90 minutes

with such a outline i expect Müller to somehow get the ball into the net exactly in that timeframe during a hectic penalty box scene using his left knee just to ruin the game for me

no matter what Barcelona needs to buy at least 1, better 2, additional central defenders during the summer break

Lewandowsky likely to join Götze next summer. Boo. As in boring. And welcome to the Munich Bench Wars.

This summer will be nice for speculating tabloids.

LUHG and LULG is bad enough. Forums contain nuts. :)

Glazer - team doing well and debt rising would result in more noise. Looks like they have people who could find a sponsor for Ryan Giggs' turds. In general, the Premier League and the debt they allowed some clubs to take on, :(.

twietee - Lewandowski - bad enough if he goes, Bayern Munich adds to the injury. Seems like Arsenal selling RVP and a fit Wilshere to Manchester United.

On a Dortmund v Munich final in England, get the game moved by covering the pitch with a St George's Cross towel. ;) :)

So, Reina calls 10-game ban 'absurd and unfair'

I'm inclined to agree, after all, if I'd bitten someone, I'd be up on assault charges!

I agree with Reina on this, too. Oliver Kahn did this every single week and nobody complained except Heiko Herrlich of course. Not even a discussion about a ban. But then again, we're all still little bavarians deep down inside

* Barbarians I meant.

I can understand Liverpool's reaction (the players, not the suits) in the sense that, by all accounts, Suarez seems a decent guy off the pitch. He is not having the kinds of personal issues that other enfants terrible seem to have with drugs/alcohol/violence. He simply loses his head on the pitch.

There are other people in football who are doing far worse things and seeing much less punishment. From that perspective I can see why some are upset about the length of the ban. But in the end you can only be responsible for yourself.

The fact that Nigel de Jong went unpunished for snapping legs in half, or that Balkan football gets a weak slap on the wrist for massive, institutional racism is, unfortunately beside the point if you look at things strictly. Luis did what he did, he has not denied it and we all know that the FA, the league and most English fans are unlikely ever to show him a shred of leniency.

Suarez is lucky to only get a ten game ban, if he did that on a Rugby pitch he'd get 6 months.
Also this is his Second biting offence:eek:

Lewandowski wants to leave Dortmund, and Suarez may feel the need to move out of English football. I see the potential for a swap here. ;)

Only if he gets a rabies shot first....:p...kidding aside, he'd be way to expensive and he doesn't know the Bundesliga, I think Klopp likes to steer clear of trouble makers. Even Dzeko is actually too expensive, at least salarywise. Time will tell...
