Dick move. And totally classless. Keep tempting sports karma.

Two wrongs don't make a right. Most fans would never root for an injury, it's bush league and classless.
But is it ok for the head coach to be bush league and classless? It is one thing for fans to root against players another for a head coach to spy and find any way he can to win.

Take off your Patriot hater glasses for a moment. First of all, that incident was addressed by the league. The Patriots were punished. And as has been said a thousand times, what they were doing is something A LOT OF TEAMS DID. Eric Mangini certainly didn't have an axe to grind, right?

And again, even with everything you say or think about Bill Belichick being true - he's a devil, a cheat, a horrible man (this is called a hypothetical) - you model your behavior based on the lowest common denominator? So if, in your mind, the rest of the world acts wrongly that makes it okay for you to do so? I find it harder and harder to take anything you post or say seriously. You're such a homer, you can't be objective for even a second, and you cross the line constantly with your bias against NE/Boston. Your posts are routinely useless dribble that add absolutely nothing to the discussion. It'd be nice if this place could be better than nyyfans.com or ganggreen, but you seem intent on making sure it isn't.

Bush league and classless? LaDainian, is that you? You need to stop watching ESPN.

How about that performance by the "injured" Tom Brady the other night? 11/12, 107 yards, TD, 2pt-conversion. lol.

And Tebow was 1-7 for negative yards.

Damn, did you see the Dustin Keller injury? One of the good guys in the NFL.

http://fauxjohnmadden.lockerdome.com/media/108946046

ugh.

I don't understand how the NFL hasn't made that type of hit illegal.

If you're going to make it illegal to dive at the QB's knees, it should be illegal to dive at any player's knees. That type of hit results in a serious injury like Keller's more often than not. It should be eliminated from the game.

What's up with players these days feeling the need to try to spear or obliterate the opposing player to bring him down?

What happened to tackling?? You know, where you wrap the guy up and drag him down.. instead of trying to spear the guy with your helmet and knock him unconscious or blow out his knee.

Dustin Keller tore his ACL, MCL, PCL and, and dislocated his knee

Dolphins TE Dustin Keller tore his ACL, MCL, PCL and, as if that weren't enough, dislocated his knee, per source.

****. Poor guy. He signed a deal for less money this year to prove himself going into FA. Tough luck

Wow, sounds like he has no knee left. Have others come back from an injury like this.

In the NFL, you always take the money now. Your career can be over on a meaningless pre-season play.

Willis McGahee and Rodney Harrison come to mind. They both returned after blowing out 3 ligaments in their knees.

Congratulations to the NFL. Always wanted a TSA-like experience when I go to a game.

Of course, the NFL will sell you an aproved bag for $8.

Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12” x 6” x 12.” (Official NFL team logo clear plastic tote bags will be available through club merchandise outlets or at nflshop.com/allclear), or

One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar).

The Broncos are sending season ticket holders a bag free of charge. I hate this move by the NFL. In the winter, we bring hats, gloves, blankets, etc. in a couple of backpacks and take out things as we need it. Needless to say, that stuff takes up a lot more room than is in these tiny bags.

Out of interest, is it usual to be searched when attending games over there? We're able to take non-transparent bags in but they usually get looked through by a steward.

Yes, that is how it has been up until this year. In addition, people get searched by portable metal detectors.

They have been bitching that people would rather watch on TV than go to the games. I don't see how these new rules don't drop attendance more.

I used to have half a season ticket. I gave it up about 6 years ago as going to the games got to be such a hassle. Between the traffic, hassling people tailgating, crappy cell service and searches, I had enough. Getting home after 10pm from a 4pm game was the icing on the cake.

My family has season tickets to the Broncos. This is our 3rd year. For a 2pm game we leave the house around 11:30 and usually get home around 7pm if we don't stop someplace for dinner. We live around 70 miles from the stadium.

Cell service totally sucks. I usually don't get any updates, emails, etc. until I get on the Interstate after the game. But that is to be expected when 70,000+ are in such a small area.

As much as I miss going to games, the experience at home is just so much more enjoyable.

While I enjoy watching at home, nothing beats being at the game. The Broncos beating the Steelers on the first play of OT in the 2011 was like nothing I'd ever seen live before. The Steelers fans sitting next to me were just stunned. The fans were standing and screaming for 30 minutes after the game. I'll never forget being there with my 2 kids. Unfortunately, my wife was in Florida with her sick parents.

And on the other side of the coin, I have never heard 70,000+ people so quiet when we lost in double OT to the Ravens last year. Just a horrible, gut-wrenching experience.

I know the feeling. I was present in Nasville for the "Music City Miracle" in the playoff game between the Titans and the Bills. It was crazy! So much fun and so much emotion, both good and bad, in such a short period of time. Plus, the energy level at a Monday Night Football game is off the charts. It's a totally different feel than regular Sunday games.

Yeah, yeah. We all know you like to watch the games naked and the various ways you "celebrate" would be considered indecent at a public venue! :D

This brings a new visual for RDOWNS and the "butt fumble"....:D

Agreed. Especially now with big ass HDTVs and surround sound. Way better than the hassle of going to a game. And you don't have to pay 11 bucks for a beer, 8 bucks for a ****** hot dog, and wait 10 minutes in line missing the game to take a piss.

Don't see the fascination of leaving at 10am and getting home at midnight for a 4pm game. Traffic is an absolute nightmare getting out of Gillette too.

That's why I stopped going to Pats games a few years ago. It's more enjoyable to watch on TV. I just started going to more Bruins games instead... so much easier being able to take the subway right to the stadium.

I am pretty fortunate. I found a parking lot (a private business, not official stadium parking) to use that avoids most of the traffic after the game, and it is pretty much right across the street from the stadium. When I get into my car, I can usually get on to the Interstate in about 15-20 minutes.
