and that game actually came down to the last play right?

i didn't see any of it just went to nfl.com to see the score. poor clemens kid.
that is a lot to throw o him in such a short time.

It came down to what amounted to a 6 down goal line stand by the only team on the field. The Seahawks defense.

There was no Seahawks offense. Except for that one 80 yard TD bomb by Wilson.
The Rams kept 8 guys on the line the whole game and sacked Wilson 7 times.

The Rams came out with a great plan to stop the Seahawks. Pretty much stuffed what they do best. Dared them to beat them downfield and Seattle couldn't do it because of all the pressure up-front. They got burned on that one play but I think they'll take that in return for a full game of stoppage.

You're correct except for the end result. The Rams lost.

ha ha yeah the most important detail. unfortunate for them there are 2 sides of the ball... and on the other side their offense was facing a very good defense as well.

Agreed. That said, if Bradford had been playing QB last night I think the Rams win.

The game of football is filled with ifs, buts, and yea's. The end result is still what matters.

;)

It appears that the Seahawks have Lady Luck (no relation to Indy's quarterback) on their side. 135 yards of total offense, including one 80 yard TD pass, 48 yards of sacks and 83 yards of yellow flags, is just an unbelievable way to win a game.

Maybe. Maybe not. They lost Sidney Rice for the season with another one of those torn ACL's.

Man, surprised Janoris Jenkins missed that sure interception. I had high hopes for him after his amazing rookie season. He tracked/played that ball perfectly but just let it go by him.

It was a long shot for the Rams to be a playoff team and it's only mid-season but this is turning out to be another disappointing season. Only positive is the Redskins are playing poorly so that's two high draft picks for the Rams in next years draft.

Also, I hope Zac Stacy's injury isn't too bad, he looks like he could be the Rams RB.

These are killing teams right now, not to mention players career's. I have often wondered if it is because of the fake grass etc. I don't remember this many ACL injuries in a single season, ever.

Some players are saying it's due to the rule change about hitting with the helmet.

Seems thats making defenders hit lower causing receivers to get that torn ACL.

This could very well be, but we are seeing this on non receiving positions. Tackles, quarterbacks, linebackers, defensive line positions.

Just very strange that we are seeing this more and more.

I often wonder if the players are not properly training with weights on the legs so they can shed a few pounds to go faster? Granted a helmet to the knee isn't going to stop that injury!

Yet another one last night. Geno Atkins from the Bengals tore his ACL.

Crazy amount of injuries this year.

Justin Blackmon banised from NFL

wow always sucks to hear stories like these. What most of us wouldn't give to be big millionaire sports stars... and these guys just throw it all away because they cant stay off drugs. It's crazy that these guys dont stop to think what they are giving up... Or they are just weak and give in to the temptation no matter what. He was on "3rd strike" so he is pretty much banished from the league and can appeal to be let back in next year if he stays clean from now to then...... If he wasn't able to stay clean while playing, I highly doubt he'll stay clean while sitting at home doing nothing.

It's not intellectual, it's chemical. Hope he can get the help he needs.

Seems Broncos head coach John Fox had either a small heart attack or a panic attack and is in the hospital.

Edit : bummer. He's going to have aerota valve heart surgery . He'll be out 4-6 weeks.

Awesome win by the JETS today. This is why I love the NFL, team looked terrible last week getting embarrassed by the Bengals, and the defense bounced back and looked great this week against one of the best offenses in the league.

This team is showing flashes of being a good team but the inconsistency is killing them, hopefully going in to the bye will break this win one - lose one trend they have going. I think Rex saved his job in this stretch of 3 games going 2-1 vs NE, CIN, NO.

Oh and making things sweeter my buddy called me like 2 hours before the game with an extra ticket and great seats!

Texans head coach Gary Kubiak collapsed at the end of the first half and is being taken to the hospital in an ambulance.

I hope it isn't too serious.
