While that was a great play, Richard Sherman can't cover all the receivers and tight ends Denver has. It would be different if Denver had one star RB, WR and TE, makes it a lot easier to manage and game plan but Denver's offense across the board is pro-bowl calibre. Not too sure on Seattle's depth but their nickel and dime personnel will need to be on their A-game.

The A game..Or as we know it in the NW. Get the QB. Pick him off and those receivers don't get those TD's.

Will definitely be a task to get to Manning. This is by no means an impossible task, all one needs to watch is the 2001 Super Bowl between the Rams and Patriots to see how a defense can shut down an entire offense.

just sayin'

Fine, now I dare you to put up a gif of Navarro Bowman challenging Theismann for ick-factor.

February 2nd can't come soon enough.

hmmm, Groundhog Day, will this game get played over and over again?

More importantly, Denver is in Colorado, Seattle is in the state of Washington, what do these two have in common?

Yeah, you got it,
Weed Bowl!

Neither team will win, they will just play till one sinks the other.

bitter jets fan photo

Blah. Beaten by a better team. rdowns, as a Jets fan, you should understand that. :D

Not much else to say. It happens. We'll be back, hopefully with a TE that is not a murderer/medical frankenstein, and some wide receivers taller than me. ;)

On the plus side - my girlfriend is proficient at cheering me up after playoff losses, and the Super Bowl should be a great matchup with the #1 seeds (and #1 offense and #1 defense) going at each other. Congrats, Broncos and Seahawks fans.

Courteous? Respectful? Sanguine? What, are you throwing a wrench into the gears of the trashtalkmachine? P*** on you ;)

Just as I thought at the beginning of the season - Seattle and Denver.

Congrats to both teams. I was surprised at how handily Denver beat my Patriots :( and how close the Seattle game was.

the Niners tho... how many players left that game last night and didn't return?

the punt returner, bowman, didn't one other player get hammered too?

i was for the 49ers but not so much that i am upset with the result... or surprised by it. i felt like more than once Kaep should have ran the ball when he threw it. the first INT really stands out. he had a nice seam to his right and God knows how many yards to to gallup through... felt like he did the same thing in the SB last year. Oh well.

looking forward to the SB. don't care who wins but i hope Sherman has no role/very minor role in it if the Seahawks win.

"If I knew they were gonna throw fade routes on me we'd be wearing these hats a lot earlier".

"He's mediocre at best. I'd never let him catch a game winner on me"

Lol Sherman's swag is ridiculous

Absolutely, the Jets lost their last 2 AFC Championship games, just like the Patriots. :D

Yep, but they last won the AFC championship and played in the Super bowl in 2011. The Jets have NEVER won an AFC championship. :p It's been so damn long that the last time they won and played in the Super Bowl, it was still the AFL. :p

Fun year. Patriots overachieved big time this year.. with all the injuries and adversity they had no business even making the playoffs, yet they continued to battle. Lots of thrilling comeback victories. They finally hit the wall yesterday.. Denver was the better team and they weren't going to be denied.

Maybe these teams can stay healthy next year and we can get one more rematch. ;)

I hope there's a huge blizzard for the Super bowl in a couple weeks. That would be hilarious.

For once, I'm going to defer to zioxide on this one. 10 years without a SB victory is considered a drought for New England. How many times have ya'll pulled out the "we made 2 AFC Championship games!" 20? 35? 150 times?

Besides, now we have more time to discuss all the dick debacles going on with the Jets since the season ended. ;)
