The stuff going on at Hull City is really, really annoying me right now but Zwolle's merry antics at the top of the table are at least providing me with a bit of football-based cheer right now.PSV couldn't beat Twente so PEC are still leaders of the Eredivisie.
Ace - we'd get the best china out obviously. It also goes without saying that, if my travels ever take me near Hull, I will be calling on Mr & Mrs Cake and perhaps even the KC stadium.![]()
Superb defending from Everton and, despite needing a striker,
Ace - we'd get the best china out obviously. But who knows what the team would be at that point in time. Allam has been sounding off again about not being able to buy the stadium and do as he pleases with it, the suspicion is that his final goal is to have his rebadged team playing outside the city in his own ground.
Melton Tigers? Pah.
What happened to Kone? Banging them in for Wigan, has hardly kicked a ball for Everton. Didn't even make the squad Saturday, presumably through injury?
The problem is that his antics are alienating a lot of the traditional fan base. There's a core of supporters who are feeling disenfranchised by the whole process, and increasingly detached from the club in fact, a number of longstanding season pass holders have said they won't be renewing next season if the club is rebranded as Allam wishes.Really what Allam should be doing is preparing to gracefully re-enter the Championship with finances intact if relegation happens or, if the club hang in there this season, to undertake some sustainable spending to stay in the top division as long as possible. This global marketing quest of his is a sideshow.
Quite correct. Unfortunately, some people seem unable to get this salient point into their heads.I don't think changing the name is going to make you Asia's favourite team. The most popular teams out there are the clubs with historic successes, such as Man U, Arsenal and Liverpool, so unless you're going to change into a red strip and win trophies over the next 20 years, it's pointless!

We're not at all convinced by claims that the name change will make us Asia's most popular football club or bring in millions upon millions of pounds in merchandise sales - because it won't and it won't, and that's even if we're a Premier League club with all the global exposure that brings us. If we're relegated then we won't be an afterthought out there, and Allam will be left trying to pick up the pieces with a fanbase he's needlessly alienated.

Hmm. If we change our name to Hull O'Kitty then we've not only got Asia cracked but Ireland too, boosted by the strong contingent of Irish players already at the club.Maybe it's already started, Image you have won over Hello Kitty.![]()
YoungDiving is one thing, but being so poor at it.
