Problem is Pep readily got rid of Sterling and Jesus, and both were more effective.

I may be wrong, but i won't be surprised if Pep puts him up for sale.
Yes I’d rate them both higher than Greelish. But I’m not sure if the moves were instigated by the manager, the players or most likely agents.

Grealish really doesn't fit Pep's style of football. Maybe he wanted a different type of attacker to give them a different look when needed, but it hasn't really worked out. Could definitely see him getting sold to make room for a newer, shinier toy.

Moyesie is a decent manager — he was just way, way, waaaaaaay over his head at United. West Ham / Everton is his level. Of course he was not the only bad managerial appointment after Fergie left, but it looks like they finally got it right this time.

Arguably Liverpool need Gakpo more than United do. He's another left-sided attacker, and United have plenty of those already in Rashford, Sancho, and Garnacho.

RIP

You can argue all night and day whether he was or wasn't the best player ever, but to me it's pretty clear that he was the most important player of all time, both in terms of influencing how the game was played on the pitch and in how he grew its popularity worldwide. RIP Pelé, legend of legends.
Amen. Rarely am I concerned with the death of celebrities, but Pelé touched my life in a way very few others ever have, or ever will. He was the Greatest Of All Time. There will never be another. #Pele

Amazing player and a great human being.
A totally amazing football player, nobody can question that. He indeed was extremely gifted.

But was he great human being in every way?
We, or I at least, don't know that. You might have more info then me?

He might have been a great human being, but I don't have the appropriate knowledge to say that. I didn't know him, at all.
I would like to hear what his 3 wife's and 7 children's say about that first 😉

I would assume that they had to put up with a lot living with a man like that.

The hapless Wout Faes would appear to be in the running for Liverpool's Man Of The Match.

Anyway, half time and Liverpool (gifted two improbable goals courtesy of the hapless Faes) lead Leciester by two goals to one.

Such bad luck. Liverpool need to thank their lucky stars because they have been poor...both fullbacks especially.

As for West Ham i'm guessing Moyes's days are numbered.

Meanwhile...

Well I concede your point. I never heard anything about hims being a poor sport as some other players that's all. Personal lives are often different from the public persona. For us non-celebrities too. :)

Not really. Granted they aren't on peak form, haven't been all season, but had Nuñez and Salah been on form, they'd have been 3-4 goals clear at least. They really do need a complete new midfield though; Fabinho, Keita and Thiago spend more time on the treatment bench than they do on the pitch. Getting rid of Thiago and Keita would be a good move; they've never really added what their price tags suggested. Get in Bellingham and Rice. There are some good youngsters still to develop, so it's not quite so bad.

As for West Ham i'm guessing Moyes's days are numbered.
Some people on here think he's great. 🤣 West Ham fans leaving the athletics track after just 70 mins. Not that it was full to begin with....

Cronaldo there displaying the complete opposite of the humility of Pelé. Sure, he'll be very rich. But he's destroyed his own legacy in the eyes of many millions of fans worldwide. Arrogant, narcissistic and ultimately delusional. Now he's being seen for what he truly is. And it'll be an ignominious slide into obscurity. Quite fitting really.

Every time Leicester attacked they walked through 'Pool's midfield. Against better opposition, Liverpool easily lose that match. Getting Bellingham AND Rice won't be easy. Unless they want to spend £180m

As for Moyes, he is a decent manager if you set your expectations accordingly. He is an old guard who isn't particularly innovative but he can run a steady ship. When he came in West Ham were in dire straits and he steadied them.

But West Ham i think need to move on from him at some point with the players they have they should be doing better but they need a manager who is more forward thinking and flexible.

why is trying to support Everton such a nosebleed?
As an casual EPL supporter, I can't do another "no relegation-skin of our teeth" season.

Leicester scored 3; 2 in the wrong net. 🤣 On another day, Liverpool could easily have got at least 3 or 4 more. Against better opposition, Liverpool actually do quite well. Liverpool have beaten Man City, Spurs, Napoli and Ajax this season. It's actually against the smaller clubs that they've performed poorly. So; you're talking rubbish, quite frankly. :D:p

They may well do. Although I suspect only one would actually come, if any at all.

He's a mediocre mid-table manager. That's about it. In 24 years of management, all he's won is the Charity Shield at Man U. And West Ham are now in dire straits again...

They won’t get Rice. He’ll end up at Chelsea or Arsenal. He’s already said he doesn’t want to leave London.

So Utd and Arsenal are small clubs now
