Will Gakpo end up in Utd or Newcastle.
That came out of nowhere. Two forwards in one season. That's £139m outlay for forwards already. What's that 6 forwards now in total. Interested to see if any midfielders come in.Liverpool. They came on quickly for him, understandable with Jota and Diaz both out for a while. I'm not fully convinced of his quality, but he did have a few good finishes at the World Cup.
Joao Felix is supposedly available for loan. United should be all over that — while he's not strictly a #9, he is versatile enough to play well enough up top. Atletico has been wasting his talent. He won't come cheap, but would go a long way towards securing a top 4 finish.
He certainly does. Zouma available at the back would have helped. As would other injuries coming back. I thought Rice looked tired. That came out of nowhere. Two forwards in one season. Today, Fabinho and Thiago weren't great.
Arsenal played well and it was basically normal service resuming despite West Ham's pen. It wasn't that the Hammer's played badly they were just outmatched.
Moyes has work to do.
I said you didn’t need to worry. We on the other hand really need to start worrying.I had been worried that we would have been a shadow of ourselves in the absence through injury of Gabriel Jesus, who has been superb since he joined us, last summer.

Where as I knew we wouldn’t hold onto the lead.Well, yes, but you know how it is.
One nil down at half time and I was gnawing nails.....

I think you’ll find our stadium is sold out most weeks.Gakpo to Liverpool is a surprise. Picked Man U's pocket there. Precisely the kind of player Man U need right now tbh. Liverpool do have Jota and Diaz out for a good while though, and let Origi and Minamino go in the summer, so it's not that daft a signing really. Liverpool need to crack on and string some wins together, to get a top 4 spot, they've had a disastrous season so far. What they realy need though is someone like Bellingham in midfield; Henderson is too old, Milner is pretty much finished, Fabinho is way too fragile as is Thiago, who really isn't up to Liverpool standards. They always have some great kids coming through though, so I reckon they'll do better from now on.
Annoying to see Arsenal win yet again, but let's face it West Ham are crap. They've always been crap. And they've got a mediocre manager who's never won anything, ever. At least they've got a big subsidised stadium to never fill though.
I'm not sure if Arsenal can go all the way, City are surely too strong. With all the talk of Haaland, Julian Alvarez has gone pretty much unnoticed, and he's class. And Arsenal have yet to play them at all so far. And have some very tough away fixtures, not least Liverpool and Spurs, who will both be seeking revenge after being hard done by in their games. Arsenal's luck (and let's face it, it is mostly luck) will run out soon. Lose 3-4 games and they'll be scraping top 4 again.
Man U I think will be the quiet surprise, they're just getting better and better under Ten Fags, and they've finally got rid of that narcissistic show pony. Newcastle I doubt will manage to keep up the momentum, but dirty Saudi money will ensure they will probably have future success. Nice to see all the Geordies conveniently ignoring the human rights abuses committed by their owners. As long as they win games, eh?

And where’s David Moyes hasn’t won anything, I rate him as a good manager. Competing with the greedy six is difficult when you don’t have the budget.
Agreed. I think Utd would have won more and spent less if they had given him time rather than the revolving door policy they currently have.I think Moyes has done surprisingly well with West Ham, given budgetary constraints and the further constraints imposed by injuries to key players.
Moreover, I have long thought he was treated pretty poorly by Manchester United.
Hmm. They have looed extremely good this season, no question. But then everyone else, even City, have been a little off it so far. And what City have that Arsenal don't, is serious strength in depth. If Arsenal lose a game or two, slip backwards, then we'll see what character they really have. They have City up soon, so we'll see how good they are then.Well, re Arsenal, I would argue that leading from the front - at the top of the league table - since the start of the season can hardly be ascribed solely to "luck". Ability, graft, team spirit, - some intelligent purchases - and a willingness to fight for results, have also played a not inconsiderable role in achieving (and retaining) ttheir current position.
However, I will concede that teams that win championships tend to have had a few experiences when decisions - or the trajectory of a ball - went their way.
Having said that, what I like most about this Arsenal team is not just their youth, their evident team spirit, or their appetite, but the fact that they continue to fight for a result, even when they fall behind.
The team of a few years ago wilted all too easily when events on the field went against them.
Yeah, for other events! 🤣 No soz. But I've been to a few games at the athletics track, and I'm sorry, but it's never quite full. The club gives loads of tickets away to local youth and community groups, and even those don't get used up (a mate works locally and gets hold of free tickets).I think you’ll find our stadium is sold out most weeks.
He had a pretty decent budget at Everton (relative to most other clubs), it's a myth he was working with limited resources. Perhaps not as much as the big clubs, but still more than most others. And where’s David Moyes hasn’t won anything, I rate him as a good manager. Competing with the greedy six is difficult when you don’t have the budget.
He's a fantastic manager for West Ham. Mediocrity personified. I wish him a long reign there.I rate him as a good manager.
He was crap. By far the worst manager Utd have had in a very, very long time. Ask any Utd fan. They couldn't wait to get rid of him. He was appointed cos Bacon Face wanted another Glaswegian in charge, someone who would do it his way. He was crap at Real Sociedad, and he was crap at Sunderland. But, if you're happy with him, that's great. 🤣Moreover, I have long thought he was treated pretty poorly by Manchester United.
Lol! 🤣 Ok then.Agreed. I think Utd would have won more and spent less if they had given him time rather than the revolving door policy they currently have.
He's just got two assists.... 🤣Grealish's days in Pep's team are probably numbered.
...and good for him. But since he has been bought, he hasn't been amazing. He's just got two assists.... 🤣
What did you expect? He was the best player in an average Villa side by miles. In the city side he’s not even one of their best 5. I think he’ll continue to develop and flourish there tbh....and good for him. But since he has been bought, he hasn't been amazing.
Worse than Mourino? Rashford has only just started to show the talent he had before Mourino ruined him.Yeah, for other events! 🤣 No soz. Problem is Pep readily got rid of Sterling and Jesus, and both were more effective. What did you expect? He was the best player in an average Villa side by miles. In the city side he’s not even one of their best 5. I think he’ll continue to develop and flourish there tbh.
