I don't care what people think here AT ALL, if they don't have any 1st hand or very close experience of Women's Football - unless it's supportive. Opinions don't matter much without experience 😁

I have lived through all variations of ignorance of Women's Football - I'm just laughing at it - and learning about what type's of people who just 'think they know something'.
It has no more than 0 to 1% to do with Women's football, usually. My skin is as thick as the Mandalorian's armor.

But sure, I've seen inaccurate rankings earlier too, it has improved in its updates quite a lot - and as I said this seems pretty accurate.

Switzerland is a tough nut to crack but there's usually an harder opponent and it could have been a lot worse.

For sure, none should be underestmated - not Sweden either, with the current team 😉
Switzerland have a very good Women's team as well.

We need 3 today fellas!

Wolves had a bad day at the office. Losing to Ipswich means they are now cast adrift along with Southampton some what.

Liverpool and Arsenal both drop points in the title race. Chelsea the big winners I suppose without kicking a ball.

Sigh.

Oh, Arsenal, Arsenal.

Another (stupid) draw.

Kudos to Everton for their sterling and stunning defence.

Could be worse. You could be a Leicester City fan.
Indeed.

Nevertheless, I did think (well, perhaps, I did hope) that we would have been able to defeat Everton at home.

All of that possession, all of those chances, all of those crosses, all those passes, and all of those corners.........and yet, there was next to nothing to show for it. We failed (not for the first time) to convert our chances - both the good ones and the half chances - and score from open play.

And, of course, we also failed to score from corners, or any other set-piece.

We are technically adept, yes, (all that possession) but unable to break down a side that parks the bus and defends deep (and nothing wrong with that as a strategy).

Mikel Arteta's post match moan was both tediously predictable and utterly, almost fatuously, inane (I'm quoting from the Guardian's match report): "I’m very disappointed not to win. We gave nothing away. If there was one team [that] deserved to win it was Arsenal."

Arrant nonsense.

Absolute rubbish.

Utter tosh.

We failed to score (yes, Pickford obviously played a blinder and clearly excelled at time-wasting, too), failed to convert any of our many chances, which means that no, we did not deserve to win.

Instead, Everton - bloody-minded, self-destructive, underwhelming Everton - deserved their point.

Dont think Everton did anything spectacular, Arsenal were just slow ponderous and blunt.

Arteta has not invested as heavily into his attack as he has his defence and midfield. And several players are letting him down

Jota returns from injury and scores a crucial goal. Jesus returns from injury and i can't remember the last time he scored.
Martinelli is no longer a threat on the left and Havertz has been poor.

It all looked so easy for Everton to mark who offered nothing. Match could've gone on for another hr and i don't think Arsenal would score.

Saka can't do it by himself always

Arteta needs to be honest with himself and make some tough decisions. As it stands, he's a top 4 manager with a top 4 team at best.

It remains Liverpool's title to lose.

The United v City games was a poor quality game but the game was marred by an utter disgrace act by City's Kyle Walker in trying to get United's Hollund sent off. They square up in a argument and suddenly Walker drops to the floor clutching his forehead, a clear attempt to fool the ref into thinking Hollund had head butted the player which in fact he did not. Ferguson used to fine his players for doing stuff like that. I hope City would do the same to Walker.

Were Rashford and Garnacho injured?

PS: Did some catching up.
Well, Amorim is not one of those that picks someone to the the sacrificial lamb and make everyone come together. Those two probably didn't read the memo.

Vital win for us at the weekend. Wolves were awful, but it was almost starting to be the usual struggling to get a second goal would cost us. But what a way to win it at the end.

It's put us back in touch with the teams above us. We really need to get something from Newcastle next weekend as I expect Leicester to beat Wolves, before we have a daunting 2 games after Christmas (Arsenal away & Chelsea home).

England in group D for Women's Euros along with France, Netherlands, and Wales

So with all the sackings going on, the Manager merry-go-round has begun for Christmas.

THree that just got the axe - O'Neill, Martin and Buckingham will all probably walk into new jobs elsewhere, as there are still clubs looking for managers and all of them could do a job further down the pyramid or overseas in a less challenging league.

But who takes their places?
Saints - front runner at the moment is Rohl, who has a job, but is well known at Saints after his time with us as Ralph's assistant. Don't know that I would want to go to Saints unless it was with an eye on gaining promotion from the Championship next season.
Moyes could do a good job there, if he was backed.
Wolves - Who'd want the job? They go through managers like undies. What a horrible prospect that is.
Oxford - Surely not as much pressure on an incoming coach here, you'd think. Buckingham hasn't done great things here, but also hasn't been awful.

Who is out there looking for work at the moment?
Moyes
Allardyce
Potter
Low
Xavi
Ten Hag
Allegri
Gracia
Garcia
Sarri

There's more, but I can't think of them at the moment.

Plenty of options, but the question is, would any of them take a job at Saints, Wolves or Oxford right now?

I don’t think many of them would. Moyes will only go to Everton in my opinion. Big Sam is done in management I think.
Potter has turned down ‘better’ clubs. I think he is holding out for some top three job.
Ten Hag wouldn’t take a relegation scrap either.

As for our own manager, a 1-1 draw against Bournemouth probably saves his job for another week, but I’m still not convinced he is the right man.

It would seem that Rashford is being eased towards an exit from Manchester United.

Those remarks from Amorim about attitudes - without naming names - ("how they eat, how they dress, how they treat the staff, how they engage with team-mates") were very telling.

Re Manchester City's poor form - actually, re Manchester City's complete collapse in form - I suspect that, quite apart from the injuries the team has suffered (and they are clearly feeling the absence of Rodri) - notwithstanding their considerable strength in depth along with their vast resources - they may be feeling some pressure concerning the 130 charges they face, with the imminent (supposedly scheduled for January) findings looming ever closer.

It is inconceivable that they will be completely cleared, and a points deduction will put an end to any challenge they may attempt to mount in order to retain their title.
