The 6+ is close to the perfect phone

Really, my only wish would be to have the physical buttons match that of the iPads (power on top, volume on right), and Ill be honest, I like a physical switch for the screen rotation (on the right as well).

Other than that - Its perfect!

Nice excuse not to post photos because you can't stand behind your work. You claimed in another thread that your friends liked the result and duplicated it.

I don't care what a rude, manner-less, anonymous person on the internet thinks.

Don't think of yourself so highly that I would care about you.
 
It's a very nice phone, but far from perfect. I have more of an issue with the physical characteristics than what goes on with the software. I agree that it is a bit to thin, and way to slippery. I had a case on it within an hour of buying it.
 
I would have liked 2GB of ram. I'm guessing the 6S+ will have that. I'm looking forward to the 7, haha. I would like a new sleek design that doesn't make the 6 plus look so hefty.

Knowing Apple, if there is a ram upgrade it will be 1.5gb or ram.
And yes, a thicker (stronger) iPhone with less bezel would have been a much nicer design.

And did we really need a curved glass?
I am guessing this was only don't to help separate the phone from looking like many others. And resulted in what looks like a pebble .... and I am sure this added to the cost.

Apple is already using 2GB in the iPad Air 2 so the smart business decision would be to use the similar manufacturing process for that SOC for the next iPhones. Also, it will create a consistency amongst both for development/multi-tasking reasons.
 
I think what people are complaining about (bezel, thinness (lol), RAM etc.) indicates to me that the 6+ is basically as close to perfection as you will find on the market.
 
It's very decent, but I'm in the process of returning to my Note 4 from the 6+. Besides iOS being so limited in functionality for my needs I just couldn't get over the size/dimensions. Also the incredible thinness and metal housing, while insanely nice were detriments making it very slippery and scared me every time I handled it.

My decision isn't 100% made though, I'll have to have them side by side for a week or so. I think with the massive amount of increased functionality, the ability to customize to your hearts content and the S-pen make the Note 4 pretty darn close to perfect.
 
I'll agree with the others on the 2GB ram. I don't know why it was not missing on the 6+. Its made a big difference on the iPad Air 2 and I could not imagine it would have been that expensive also include it on the 6+.
 
Well now I actually have the 6+ and hardware wise it quite nearly is the perfect phone. But I was totally right about RAM. It's holding it back so much. I hoped for better but I knew it would be like this, not sure if it's a deal breaker but I'm really disappointed that Apple was too cheap to just throw 2gb in there. Pretty pathetic.

The only other complaints I have about the phone is the bezel size. Everything else is software limitations that iOS still has.

It's a good phone though, if you like iOS and don't mind the RAM you obviously won't find better. The battery life is pretty killer too, that's the main reason I got it.

I need to get my hands on a note 4 or nexus 6 for 2 weeks to see which I want to keep, but it doesn't look like the nexus 6 is going to be available anytime within the next millennium. (At least 64gb wise)

Typed this whole thing on it. The keyboard is nice and spacious.

I love my 6 plus too. I don't know if it has overtaken the iPhone 4 as my favourite phone yet but I really do like it. I'm still not convinced about 2GB of RAM, as I only ever have one or two safari pages open at a time. Also my apps remain active for a reasonable amount of time before they refresh.
 
I disagree. I think the iPhone 6 Plus is a bit too big.

The iPhone 6 is a lot closer. If the regular 6 came with a 1080p screen and OIS, it would be pretty close to perfect for me.

I do wonder about this though...

The bezel isn't functionally larger than most Android phones. The top is a little large but I don't think that impacts usage. Where do you think the bezel should be trimmed?

Get rid of the biggest phablet bezels in the industry, then triple the ram, and ensure it takes like 2-3x as much pressure to bend the device, and I'd agree with you.
 
I don't know about perfect but the 6+ is a nice phone. I agree with the others that the bezels are just too darn big. They add extraneous size to an otherwise great phone. If Apple can make the physical size smaller but retain the pixel density then we're getting closer to the perfect phone.

I did jailbreak, I'm very impressed with the options that provides but I'm finding they all have glitches and bugs that make them less than optimal. Still, lots of options and cool stuff. I now have 5 columns of icons instead of 4, I have 6 icons in my dockbar, I also have a black theme, and lots of other cool stuff.

But how would you make the physical size smaller?
