I blame the website; I had to use PayPal and you can't do that in the App, so I had to wait for their web team to show me some love. :p

EDIT: I did get my confirmation email right away though so I'm not stressed about it. This is the exact same thing that happened to me with the 6+ pre-order so it's no surprise. Anyway, why am I still awake?
 
Online right at 3:01, but held up because of no option to enter my gift card on the store app. Switched to the online store and still had trouble and had to enter it 3 times before it recognized it. 3:11 order email and got the 4-6 weeks notice. Wouldn't care much but of course I will be out of town the week of the 17th.

Why does passbook allow you to enter the apple gift card and the store app not let you choose it in apple pay? What a mess.

Seriously? That's irritatingly prolonged for a piece of plastic.

Though, maybe some folks were going for the sport band in order to lock in a pre-order with hopes of upgrading their band later.
 
Got my confirmation mail at 3:05 a.m.

38 SS watch with Milanese band, 4/24-5/8 delivery. Hoping for 4/24!
 
A few weeks ago in anticipation of this preorder, I updated my settings in the store; I recently got a new credit card so I made sure my default payment method was correct along with billing and shipping addresses.

I got my order in via the app at 3:02 eastern, but I did it so quickly that I didn't realize the billing and shipping addresses defaulted to addresses that I'm pretty sure I deleted from my account a long time ago.

When I go into the account settings now either via the app or website, the correct default information is showing and I can't find any of the old contact information. Of course the check/edit order status isn't working so I can't fix it.

Anyone have anything like this happen?
 
4-2 to 5-8 in my email. SS BLACK watch with AppleCare here. Went all out and got the more expensive one. Took only a few minutes.

At this point I'm good with the end of the month got delivery. This is more of a luxury item. So I am in no rush to get it.
 
Pre ordered the Black SS and the SS w/modern buckle

Modern buckle is May 13-27th

Black SS is June!!

I guess I can't complain since I got both of them for 50% off...gotta love :apple: :cool:

Same thing happened to me, I feel your pain. Having to use an apple gift card and not being able to use the app is an absolute joke and just cost us a possible extra month of wait time.
 
Ordered through app.

First bought 38mm SS with Link bracelet. Ships 4-6 weeks.
Then bought 38mm Milanese Loop, ships 4/24-5/8.
On a hunch went back and ordered 38mm SS with sport band, ships 4/24-5/8
Then, ordered 38mm Link bracelet separately, and got a shipping time of 4/29-5/12

Will go back and cancel the 1st one :)

Exact same scenario here. Very annoying.
 
I got my Sport 42mm white band with 4/24-5/8 shipping!!! Hopefully this is just Apple covering their ass and we will actually get it on the 24th
