how did you change your iphone plan to a medianet unlimited? I have been trying to change my texting plan to something that supports mms, but i cannot...
 
So, since today is almost gone, what do we do with this guy?
Break his legs like he owes us money, or smack him on the nose with a rolled up newspaper while saying "NO" in a firm tone?

August 09' News on MMS on AT&T

So...I'm just like everyone here and can't wait for MMS to come out. We AT&T customers should get an award or something for waiting over 2 years for MMS to come out, I mean for god sakes I think my beeper from 1996 had MMS option. But anyways on with my story and maybe It will give some of you guys hope. Not everyone believes what they hear from this site Mac "Rumors" but I promise this is the truth. I was bored the other day so I decided to call up AT&T and ask them what was going on with the MMS situation. I had a very nice lady by the name of Samantha on the phone and she said that all they were told was late summer like we have all been hearing. So very nicely I told her if that's all she has doe me I would like to cancel my contract because we have waited to long for this option and that AT&T is really behind the ball. She said this is what I'll do. I will ask my manager but also call Apple with you on the phone and maybe we can find out. I said ok (she's prob getting her friend in the next booth to make believe he's the manager for AT&T and Apple but ok) so I get her back on the phone and the manager from AT&T says hey Frank I understand your disappointment with the whole situation and you want to cancel you contract but I do have a better piece of advice for you. He told me these exact words, " If I were you, I'd wait till the end of this month better yet I'd wait to the middle of this month." So I said what are you saying, and he repeated himself, I laughed and said ok. What this means to me is that by the middle of this month we should see MMS on AT&T...

they got you too hold off from canceling a little longer. :p who knows I not like everybody else I am not loosing sleep over it I'm am not a big texter when it comes it comes. and it will be nice but that about it. but I have done allot of customer service. you were a upset customer mad and about to leave you are now waiting at least another month giving the company a 2nd chance with a upset customer in the CS service world that goes in the WIN column still say when we get we get it life goes on! not the end of the world lol.

That's exactly the reason, to keep their hand in your pocket a little longer.
Why would they have to call Apple for an AT&T issue?
 
Well AT&T has already lied to me. This chick at AT&T told me it was Apples fault the iPhone didn't have MMS. I said "WTF??" I asked what training she had, etc. But she held firm. I offered to show her websites with info etc. Nope.
I even told her that the 3.0 software includes MMS functionality and for her to pull her head out and realize that the same phone, same OS has MMS with Rogers, with O2, etc. That the only cell provider not offering MMS with the iPHone was AT&T, she still said it was Apples issue and not at&t.

On that end, if they don' have MMS here within a week I'm just going to jb my phone and use swirlly. I've held off long enough and after being lied to, blatantly, I done with waiting for them to provide a service that is already available.

I do not see that option in my account... Hmmmm but you said it still doesn't support mms so there's no use trying to get it I suppose...
