My battery today. Off charger at 6:02 am. Battery at 61% right now. Screen time 6 hour+

I upgraded from an XS Max. One reason I never got the 11 or 12 was that Apple never made an Apple-branded battery case for those model. But the battery on the 13 Pro Max is easily twice as good as the XS Max.

The battery on the 13 Pro Max is so good that I really haven't needed the Magsafe Battery Pack I bought at all. And I really can't imagine what kind of daily use would require the need for one.
I'm in the same boat. I used the apple battery case for years on my Xs Max and have been worried about apple not making them anymore. I'm very relieved that the Max has been suiting me well and I haven't needed to charge it during the day.

I wish I was getting that. Lots of us here are getting only equivalent of 8 hours on a 100% cycle... even with very light workloads and hog settings off.

54% after 6,5 hours SOT - from 100% on morning to midnight - 75% brightness, LTE, NOTHING disabled, 3 bars reception. It's like with 3000 mah powerbank connected to it 😊
Wish my 13 pro max was like yours, that sounds amazing.

You running your display at 1% brightness? Lol

Nope. Pretty much all at default settings. Auto brightness or True Tone is on. Even using 5g while at work. Don’t watch many videos or play games. Just checking forums, reddit, email etc.

No idea 🤷‍♂️ Maybe because I’m on WiFi, indoors, brightness at 35%
Do you know if using 70% of max storage capacity will reduce battery life? I mean I have 4hr and 10 screen time with 60% left. It isn’t bad but nowhere near anyone else on this thread.
I’m using 70% brightness. Maybe I’ll go lower.

Why don’t you turn off stuff I told you that you don’t need? YouTube it. Many videos on it. That’s how I’ve learned a lot about iOS past few years.

I’ve turned off some but the other users on this thread have it all on and are still getting stellar battery life.

I feel like I’m just not getting the same performance? Was at 100% last night at 9pm. Since then I’ve had 4h 45 mins of screen on time and 30m of screen off time, which was mostly music.

Background app refresh off for most apps. I did all the battery saving tweaks/toggles in location settings etc. I’ve been using it for extremely light things, brightness set between 30-50% and using Wi-Fi the whole time. I don’t have 5G either.

Battery is now at 62%. So nearly 40% drain for just that, when lots of you seem to be getting upwards of 7 hours on that amount of drain? I’ll keep monitoring and see how it goes… but even in that screen on time, my usage was extremely light. No games or anything that made the phone even slightly warm.

I had a similar situation as yours until I put my 13 Pro Max in DFU Recovery and did a fresh install. Then I did the iCloud backup and my battery is great! I can’t say if you will have the same experience, but it’s worth a try before exchanging it.

I took my 13 Pro Max off the charger Monday morning at 6 AM. It is currently 9:30 PM Tuesday night. The battery life is sitting at 47%. Should I try and go an entire extra day without charging the battery? This is crazy! My old 6s Plus with 82% battery would barely last past lunchtime on Monday!

What is your screen on time today. Starting from unplugging the charger.

Took my 13PM off the charger at 9am and I hit 60% at 11pm. Mind you I would consider myself a heavy user.

Also worth noting by 2pm I was only at 90%.

This phone is insane and I can’t stress how much Apple outdid themselves with the battery. It was worth the upgrade for that alone if you ask me.
