"12: 55 pm EST: And then there's this, making the rounds from AppleInsider: "Paul McCartney, one of the founding members of The Beatles, is scheduled to to appear on BBC Radio 1 later this afternoon to make "very special announcement," AppleInsider has learned. "McCartney, whose appearance is likely to coincide with announcements from Apple Inc. around the same time, will join BBC Radio 1’s Edith Bowman at approximately 1:00 p.m. Eastern."

The Mccartney announcement's been and gone btw, I think the US signal is delayed a few hours to make up for the time zones. He was on over here in the UK like 4 hours ago, he just announced him and Ozzy Osbourne will be doing some shows later this month for some Radio 1 anniversary.

Custom ringtones for iPhone! Huzzah!

I remember keying in custom ringtones aeons ago on my Erricson T28.

As has been rightly noted, paying to turn a snippet of a song into a ringtone is not gonna win hearts and minds.

Let's hope they didn't divert too many resources from the Leopard development team in order to come up with this.
