in mint condition, $400 it is technology after all; don't sell for less. The storage is what lowers the pricing.
To check, see what others are asking in your are on craigslist, kijijij, and even howardforums or ehmac sites.

I sold a 4S 16gb unlocked a few weeks ago (before or around the sept 12 announcement) for $525. Found the buyer through Kijiji.
I would say 400-450 is pretty reasonable now that the 5 has launched.

-Reports on when replacement iP5s will be available according to the Genius Bar
-People in the later shipping buckets report that their orders have shipped, people who already received iPhones weeks ago them tell them nobody cares any more
-More pictures of the box

Apple Store Eaton Centre opens at 8am for iPhone 5 purchases and 10am for regular store hours (everything else).

Pretty bang on until the black paint. It's not paint. It's anodized aluminum. Black is one of the most lightfast colours in anodized aluminum. It won't come off, though it can be scratched like any metal. The aluminum itself is black so even a deep scratch will reveal more black aluminum underneath.
Apple Stores will have a good supply of nano SIMs being given away for free to anybody who purchased online.

I'm really worried about the nano-sim situation for tomorrow! I'm with Rogers and heard it's either a hit or a miss - some stores will sell you them tomorrow, some will not sell any except to people who buy their iPhones from them. Would I have a more likely chance at a T-Booth store than my Rogers store do you think?
Aaah, I forgot one key event that always happens during Apple product launches:
-Complaints about yellowish screens
I know it's anodized, just easier to say paint ('the black anodized color is coming off' doesn't have the same ring to it lol)
The aluminum itself is silver, and the anodization process colors several nm of the paint. If chipped or scratched, you will see the silver aluminum underneath, exactly the same as it does with the anodized iPods.

"Ditching the glass back and reducing the thickness of the glass panel on the front has affected the design of the metal band around the edge of the iPhone. It is now chamfered and while that looks pretty, we've already noticed that on the black model the edge has started to wear, revealing the shiny silver aluminium metal underneath the "slate" coloured coating and, indeed, we've witnessed it on two separate models, ruling out a fluke manufacturing error.
These small scuffs will catch the light and make the phone look visibly worn. We suspect that it won't be as noticeable on the white model because the metal edging is silver, so that's worth bearing in mind when you come to order your colour choice."
I'm personally not concerned about it though, as mine will be wrapped (Ghost Armor or something) then stuck in a TPU case.
Thanks for the tip. When asked several days ago the Oakridge (Vancouver BC) Apple Store didn't have a clue, going to give them a ring tomorrow.

I hate you rogers, i really hate you............But i love apple/iPhone more, time to shell out some money for stupid early HUP fee and get me an iphone 5
Anybody know if we ever found out that Apple Stores will or will not carry unlocked iPhones tomorrow?
If the shipping emails are supposed to be out by 5:45 PST, then I expect it to be in my inbox by the time I get to school for my 8AM class. Hopefully it comes earlier on in the day, because I work from 5PM on.
Me too... I'm sick of waiting, the last email I got was for a credit check 2 days ago, and before that was the confirmation on the 14th.. Come on lol
It's been said a few times that Canadian Apple Stores are only carrying carrier locked phones. Unlocked phones are only on the online Apple Store.

It's travelled about 100km lol. Mount Hope is where Hamilton Int'l Airport is so here's hoping that where the packages are heading next.
