Boy oh boy, Rogers sure doesn't have a problem notifying me by text, email and annoying phones calls at 8am to tell me my account is past due $110.00 haha

So I wanted to ask everyone in this thread what kind of case they plan on purchasing? Or maybe you don't like cases and just want to use the phone in its birthday suit??
Whatever the case might be I'd love to hear all your opinions....
I've always used a Belkin case that sits vertically on my belt. I don't like the horizontal cases as I find it's easier to drop your phone when pulling it out to answer a phone call. If anyone here knows of a nice vertical case I'd love to hear about it.

Since my first iPhone, I never used a case. If I have the signal issue by just holding the phone like I'm holding my 3G right now, I'll probably buy a bumper (man these are overpriced).
So which colour are you going for James? I have the black 3G for two years now and I'm considering the white one especialy after seeing the unboxing pictures

I'm definitely going with the black iPhone 4, just as I've always done!
I'm really starting to like the bamboo case (see the link) and I just read that you can have your own custom design lasered into the case for an extra couple bucks!
I hate the word Vapor on the side of the case....but I heard soon people will be able to put their own name or whatever word they want on it.
But you're right, the case itself looks pretty damn sharp!
Um... I was going to get the Marware SportGrip Edge but they've changed the photos of the coloured ones... The red, blue and pink used to be opaque like the black and white ones; now they look like those jelly shoes I had when I was 7.
So what if you try to call Rogers to lower your monthly bill and you threaten to cancel but they say ok and start to walk you through the steps to cancel your contract?

I just recently got a pretty good deal through retentions with Fido. My contract was up...today actually-I called, said that I think I can go elsewhere and get a better deal (I mentioned WIND), and asked what Fido can offer me to bring my monthly bills down. They asked me about which plan on WIND I talked about, then put me through to retentions. Then the nagging and haggling begins!
I hope they announce soon-I called and negotiated my plan and then told them to leave a note in my file that I will call them back when the new iPhone starts preordering. But apparently they will only leave that in your file for a month, so I hope they bring it to Canada soon.
I'm not sure what kind of case I'll get-probably an invisishield for the front/back and possibly a bumper-although I hate cases on phones I'm a bit paranoid with all the broken glass photos popping up.

Cases are nice but i dont like all the dust build up. I dont mind the scratches as it is my phone and I wont sell it.
But i do like the Gelaskins so I plan to order a custom skin plus a Power Support screen protector
So the Gelaskins will 'fix' the antenna and depending on the cut I might have to modify it for the flash

maybe I missed something, but what does Friday at 11:59 have to do with anything?
It was a joke that Rogers will let us know at the last minute. Last minute that is, if they are making an announcement this week. Friday is our only hope for this week, thus my joke.
seeing how steve jobs is so inclined to answer customer emails, how about we test the waters and ask for an update on when we can expect the annoucement/release of the phone in canada?

I'm amazed that no one has done this, or at least posted that they did. I'm more curious to know if we will finally have the option to pre-order. I would assume we will find out both when the announcement comes out, but for me the option to pre-order directly from Apple is a more important than getting an exact release date. I really hope considering the launch, if it happens in July, would fall into the whole "second half" of the month would mean the white will be available here at launch. Although I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if the white isn't available here for a while. Just mean I'd be going without an iPhone 4 until the white is released.
