It was a joke that Rogers will let us know at the last minute. Last minute that is, if they are making an announcement this week. Friday is our only hope for this week, thus my joke.
Rogers loves the last minute pricing announcements, not sure how that will go with the amount of carriers this time around. I highly doubt (at least from Rogers) that pricing outside the normal 3yr subsidized pricing will be made available until a couple days before launch. Interesting about the July 28th date on the front page, one of the many random dates floating around with Rogers reps. Hopefully the supply will be decent here despite the multitude of carriers having the iPhone 4 available at launch.
Maybe the drama from last week put Steve off of answering e-mails. Either way, it could be a sign an announcement is coming soon or nothing at all.
Agreed. I'm a firm believer that the carriers are last to know (before the general public) and we'll hear from Apple before we officially hear from any carrier.
Someone mentioned in the thread about this specific tweet, that carrier employees and Apple Store employees in Canada have been told they can't take time off on the 28th. I know I read about this somewhere, not sure if it was about the 28th though, anyone have a link to that story?
I remember reading that employees weren't allowed to take the 23rd off and they had to start pretty early in the morning.

How much are you selling yours for? What color, storage capacity?

That'll be a tough one to live out.
It may hurt me in the long run but I was planning on getting my water damaged 3G replaced under AppleCare (229 or more plus tax, I know) and sell it for whatever I can get for it.
Anyone know what happens if there are no 3G replacement units in stock?
It has to be tomorrow! C'mon Apple, call up Robellus and tell them its time to let the news out!

I think it was you I talked to about where you sold yours. I sold mine for $500.
I am already dying, it's horrible and it's only been 8 days. I read on HoFo that the 28th is when we will get it. It's front page on Macrumors that the July countries get it then. Although the 23rd is being tossed around a lot too.

I know this has been asked before but it's worth getting an update: do you plan on hitting up an Apple Store or a Rogers store for your I4? Notwithstanding the fact that not all Rogers stores will carry the phone (or have a lot in stock), how do you propose to figure out which store to go to?
If there's an online preorder, I'm doing that. Going unlocked.
If I really have to wait, then I wait.

draz... you're going to think im crazy but i ended up picking up the unlocked 8GB 3GS. my other phone was literally dying on me. the 3GS does everything i need it to do for now. i'll possibly move on to an iPhone 4 down the road.
If I can preorder from a store I'll do it that way and take the day off work...or if there are no preorders like last year I'll likely find a Rogers store near my house and wait out there probably starting around 7am or so.
