draz... you're going to think im crazy but i ended up picking up the unlocked 8GB 3GS. my other phone was literally dying on me. the 3GS does everything i need it to do for now. i'll possibly move on to an iPhone 4 down the road. :)

Traitor. Perma ban.

Just kidding. :D The 3GS is a great phone though.

I woke up too early today. Damn heat.

i hate how we have to wait for new stuff in canada....but at the same time i like how it kind of gives them time to work out the kinks in production once it comes to us. :D

now announce the canadian release (and the white iphone 4 availability) already.

I know this has been asked before but it's worth getting an update: do you plan on hitting up an Apple Store or a Rogers store for your I4? Notwithstanding the fact that not all Rogers stores will carry the phone (or have a lot in stock), how do you propose to figure out which store to go to?

I was of the understanding that to buy an unlocked phone, you go to the Apple Store, but if you're getting a locked, subsidized phone, you need to get it from your carrier.

Noooooo you didn't!! I was following your little dilemma and was hoping you were going to wait! lol

Lol, I neeeded a new phone. My BB was having so many problems that I couldn't take it anymore. I'm loving the 3GS so far. This is my first iPhone so it's still a novelty to me. I may move to a 4 sometime down the road. Sorry I let you down :D

Yeah, I was always between a BB and an iPhone. But the most recent BB, the 9700, really feels like exactly the same phone as my Bold 9000. I love BB but mine was having problems. I wanted a change and something with a better browser. Loving the iPhone so far.

Apple store sells both locked and unlocked. They have the power to do both

I believe the Apple Store (physical stores) can do new activations on Rogers but don't have the resources to process upgrades. I'm sure they can do more now with different carriers, just basing this off what I heard when the Apple Store actually started selling the phones in-store. Anyway, looks like another day (and weekend) without an announcement  At least my SwitchEasy Nude came today, so when the iPhone 4 eventually comes out I'll have a case ready for it...

WOW you're going to love the difference between the browsers...I had a bold for a day and returned it because it can't even hold a candle to the iPhones.

Where's the announcement!?! What's going on!?! :(

Maybe the project's been cancelled. Microsoft Kin?

Monday's another day.

Though, if we're looking at 2 week notice, then Wednesday the 14th is 2 weeks from the 28th.

You know a great feature of a busted backlight? Privacy!
Another is excellent visibility in direct sunlight!

I love the iphone's browser! The BB browser + ball not being able to scroll were a huge PITA.

My sister got a blackberry recently (her first smarthphone) and she loves it. I tried it out for a few minutes and it was really nice, but I don't think I could ever use one. I really don't like the optical trackpad. I'm so used to just touching the screen that I touched the Blackberry's screen. :D

They post updates about stuff there, along with Twitter updates.

Awesome, thanks. I'll check it out.

You know, it may sucks for you Canadians to have to wait but on the plus side, you can sell those unlocked iPhones to a TON of people in the U.S. at ridiculous markups! Lucky bastards... ;)
