Yes, Retentions is the way to go. Got a new plan from Rogers this week. Didn't have to resign either (which is what surprised me). Will have to see the bill, but so far its looking good. The rep was extremely nice. I had the offer and I didn't take it right away. I told her to put a note and then she gave me the noite number (very helpful, note it down next time).

Now I just have to decide if I want an unlocked iPhone 4 for ~$750 (with taxes) or a subsidized Rogers phone. I would need to unlock it at some point anyways (I use the iPhone as a travelling phone primarily). For the 3G launch, I lined up outside the Rogers Plus at York Mills/Leslie and I wanted white. They ran out fast so I went home and ordered on the phone, got it 2 days later. However, I feel with the iPhone 4 might be some shortages.
Thinking of going to Fairview for an unlocked one, or super early again the York Mills/Leslie if I do Rogers upgrade.
The other thing I am concerned about is swapping a micro-sim in and out of a BlackBerry to iPhone 4. I inserted my iPad micro-sim in my 9700 just to see what would happen. It fit, but said sim was not authorized (or something like that). Hopefully they sell an adapter?
Finally, if this Bell deal for $10 sharing with iPad is true, I hope Rogers matches that. That would be great. But also, I hope that applies to having the BB data plan, so share data with BB and iPad. The BB data plan works with all phones though and allows BB services from what I understand.
Only a few more days and everything will be clear (or should be).
