looks like pacific center has about 80+ people and oakridge has about 100+ people

what's the stock like at oakridge? anyone know?

Here's the lowdown on yorkdale:

318 am
108 people in line
they have taken everyones name and will ensure no mad rush into the mall
mall doors open at 530am
security has been told by apple that they have plenty of stock to last through the weekend

my pal AE over at fairview says:

200 in line
security is not taking names
mall doors open at 630

Get down here to yorkdale folks.

how many of the 108 ppl in line are buying it unlocked? Any word from Apple that they are selling unlocked iPhones at launch since they still haven't released the pricing yet?

thanks

I took a poll

32.3 people are buying unlocked.

The 1/3 of a person is heavily leaning towards locked.

How come the upgrade checker is telling me I have to pay 649/749 ... when I haven't upgraded my phone through Rogers ever (always buy unlocked) and I'm on a non-data phone.

Are you telling me I have to pay 749 to get a 32GB iPhone + a 3 year extension to my contract (by adding data) that is massively lame, unless I'm (hopefully) misunderstanding something -____-

ha ha ha.
but seriously though, considering that Apple hasn't confirmed any pricing or availability of unlocked iPhones, no one iin line has even bothered asking about it?

i'm only wondering cus I'd like to get an unlocked phone.

Darn, I wish I lined up at Oakridge since I have to work near there tomorrow anyway. Too bad I only have a debit card and can't withdraw the $399 I need all at once.

I don't think Rogers opens their plan and service lines until 9AM Eastern, and at that point it will be freakishly busy I'm sure. The plan is available until September 30, so if you can manage to wait a couple days I'm sure you'll be wasting your minutes a lot less. :p

Im going to call to hopefully do a HUP over the phone + get the 6GB plan. If I try wating for that, I may end up waiting forever to get the iphone

I'm at Yorkdale. Nasa is somewhere ahead of me :p
Not sure what to make of this line, I hope I get a phone. 100-150 people? I am surprised Yorkdale didn't have that much of a buzz.
Thanks for the poll Nasa!

Thanks for the poll Nasa!

I have the green and yellow shoes on and the black northface jacket.

what does the eaton centre look like?
and how long does it usually take for 100 people to go through and get their phones
don't want to wait till 10-11 on top of the morning wait

Has anybody been able to order from Apple.ca yet? iPhone 4 comes up in the search and it says "ships in 3 weeks", but when I actually go to the order page there's no button to add it to cart.

Anyone have and care to share any stats from the sherway apple store? Every other apple store has been mentioned so far I believe.

Update : maybe 200 in line at yorkdale. Doors to the mall are opening in 23 min.
