Here! over here!

I've been wondering as to wether or not its even worth it to have unlimited data since AT&T said they will throttle you for two months if your in the top 5% of data users (over 2 gigs?)...

So far I haven't received a warning notice, so it seems that they're a bit inconsistent with who they notify and who they don't. I usually use about 8.8 but dropped down to 6.4 last month due to a change in travel plans.

Im not sure what to think.

Have 4 iPhones on the grandfathered plan and will let the dentist Pull all my teeth before I give that up!!!!!#

contracts up for renewal but the new iphone 4 plan im on has 500mb and mine is unlimited.....just cant let go so bought the new iphone outright from apple :)

just wish i had bought that tethering app!!!!

Can I join? We've got two Verizon unlimited plans, my Droid X (come contract date!) and my wife's iPhone. I run about .5 GB/month and she runs about 1 GB/month. But there's no way in heck I'm giving those plans up unless Verizon absolutely forces me too.

Count me in. My wife used to go over 2GB almost every month when she listened to internet radio at work, but now that she no longer works our usage has dropped significantly.

I have 2 iPhones on an unlimited plan still. My wife never goes over while I go over 2Gigs about 50% of the time. I rarely have wifi other than at home.

Two iPhones on the only plan that really makes sense - and I've watched my usage go up over the years as there is more reason to access data on the go.

Of course it's probably not as needed today with the proliferation of public wifi, but saving $10 a month for the 2gb plan (for both phones) just doesn't make sense.

Unlimited here, and not gonna change until AT&T makes me! lol. I don't "need" unlimited data, but it makes me feel a little "special" knowing you can't get it anymore! hehe:p

Present. Three unlimited plans, Both me and the Mrs rarely exceed 500MB monthly, but psychologically it's nice not to give a damn about how much you use your phone. My teenage son pushes 3GB on a regular basis though, so we are getting some small financial benefit overall.

Two unlimited lines here, would love an option to stay unlimited and add say 2Gb of 'legal' tethering from AT&T as I cant have a JB iphone due to the GOOD email app for work.

Unlimited with Verizon. 2 lines. My wife and I signed up the day before they cut it off. We both had unlimited with T-Mobile (which has much faster data around here than Verizon) but we missed having iPhones so much we decided to switch. Although the numbers from Speed Test show me how much slower Verizon is than T-Mobile, I haven't noticed the speed decrease at all in my everyday use. I'll be REALLY glad to have my unlimited data when the iPhone finally goes LTE! :D

I used to be in your club  but I dropped out a few months ago in order to get tethering, which gives a 4GB cap. I had never come close to 2GB in a month while on unlimited. With tethering on (using iPad mostly, laptop occasionally) I have hit 2.5GB.

Now I'm not traveling as much so I turn off tethering when I'm not anticipating the need. I can activate it literally within a minute using the AT&T app and the cost is pro-rated, so a pretty good deal for occasional use.

Add me as another member of the group! :D

I upgraded from the 3GS to the 4S, kept my unlimited, and now I've got a GSII in addition to my 4S (I switch back and forth). Like others here, I rarely go over 1 gig/month, but it's nice knowing I have that safety net to catch me if my usage explodes.

I'm looking to possibly change to the tethering plan soon. I bought a wifi only iPad because of this option but haven't been able to pull the trigger yet. I've maxed out at about 1GB on my unlimited plan so this seemed like a good/economical option for me.

I've been using between 2gb and 4gb for well over a year by streaming radio, music and podcasts. I only have wifi at home. The only free wifi that I've been able to find consistently is at McDonald's or Starbucks, and it's usually slower than 3G, and I'm not there long enough to use it much. I would miss unlimited data.

Well, I've had every iPhone and was in the club but I just broke down and left the club. I only use between 1 and 3 GB per month and decided to switch to the tethering plan. I really like it so far.

So, I bid the club farewell. :)

Yep count me in. Though I rarely go over 1GB in a month and would probably switch to the cheaper 2GB data plan if it included tethering.
