Sorry that I'm late for the meeting!

Count me in as a probable permanent member of this club. Had an iPhone for 2.5 years now, had unlimited all along and I doubt very much I've passed even 1.5G any given month.

But at just $5 more a month than the 2G that I'd have to have otherwise, it's a no brainer. I spend more than $5 a DAY at work on Diet Mt Dew, so 16 cents a day "insurance" that unlimited will be there should my habits change where I'd need more than 2G a month as a standard is well worth it to me.

Yup, pretty much. I mean, do people complain about all the cable channels they don't watch or the minutes they don't use on their cell plan? Unlimited means never having to worry about it, which is worth $5 a month to me.

Well yeah, they do, and quite often (at least the cable channels). But point taken.

In many aspects of life we pay for things we do not use...or HOPE we do not use (like car insurance).

I look at Unlimted as cheap 16 cents a day insurance in case my habits change to where I do need more than 2G a month. (and I've a feeling that the 4S will be using more data than my 3Gs did)

The only reason i stayed with AT&T is because i was grandfathered in from my blackberry data plan. I had contemplated dropping to the 200mb or 2gb plan just for cost savings but never got around to it. I never thought i would use over 2gb of data but habits change when you switch from a blackberry to iphone. While i had my blackberry i always was between .1gb and .4gb. The first month with my iphone i used 3.4gb

I will admit, i bought a Samsung Galaxy S2 and returned it to get the iphone so thats a pretty full month of playing with new devices and downloading new apps. This is my second month and im on day 26 of my billing cycle and I've used 1.58gb. Glad I hung in and kept the unlimited plan. If i were traveling i could have easily gone over 2gb.

Glad to be a member. I've had an iPhone since the first and I'm not going to change my plan. I still have the $5/200 messaging plan too. I'm not a texting maniac like many people I know so it works well for me.

I am addicted to my Unlimited plan and I am fine with it.

Yes, I know I never use even 1GB of data, but I can... I REALLY can if I ever want to.

Someday I might want to...

Unfortunately, my wife does not have the same addiction anymore. She barely used 150MB, so she was dropped down to 200.. then she went over.. now she has a 2GB plan, and now a 4GB Tethering plan...

I wish I could tether my unlimited plan. I swear I would never use too much...

Still have my unlimited plan here also. Most months I barely even make it to 1gb, but it's nice to know I have it if I need it.

Me, too. I use 500MB-1GB per month. A lot of the places I regularly go have Wi-fi.

Guilty

I am never giving it up. I transitioned from BB to an iPhone. I was not going to change my plan if I did not keep unlimited data.

There are months when I don't need it and 2GB would do but then there are times when I have used 5GB or more and glad I have unlimited. I'll keep it forever if I can.

I'm a proud Occupy Unlimited Planner!

After AT&T's CEO asked unlimited users to use less data (as opposed to this billion dollar company providing good service) a couple if years back I knew then that I'd never let go. Most times I don't go over but often have. It's a piece of mind thing. I'm unlimited on iPhone (4S now) and iPad (where the unlimited has been great with all the media consumption).

Unlimited two iphones and a droid x soon to be iPhone on it my son never puts his phone down so it's worth it ordered my 4s last night I'm moving to the dark side woot woot

nabbed unlimited before Verizon canned it. used to have free tethering with my last phone, that went away when I upgraded to iPhone 4S, but got it back via iTether app that I scooped up before it got scrapped by Apple.

Typically don't go over 120MB a month, but it's the peace of mind that Unlimited is there if my ISP went out.

Both my girlfriend and I are on a family plan with unlimited data each. Have been for about 2.5 years each. I use a ton more data than her. Using my SlingBox, Netflix etc...I've reached 6GB or so before. Not so much anymore because of the abundance of WiFi around me. Sharing 750 minutes and we have about 5000 rollover minutes built up  Let me cash these in AT&T!

Together, with her discount, we pay about $145 on our bill each month. Not bad at all.
