Now body hair...erm... could be completely eliminated from the 2.0 product as far as I'm concerned.

Really, though, I think that improvements could be split up into different categories.
Mechanical Engineering
----Stronger Muscles
----Redesigned Joints: Spine, Knees, etc.
Electrical Engineering
----Improved Nervous System
Structural Engineering
----Improved Bones: new materials, better structure
Software Engineering
----Reasoning Upgrades
----Ability to Purge "old baggage"
Architecture
----Aesthetic issues, such as the question of body hair

Night vision like a cat, and a lizard's ability to regenerate limbs.
Then again...that might not be so good. The ability to regenerate limbs might cause people to do more stupid things because they don't have to worry about permanent injury, and night vision will cause them to do it at night.

I'd make it so we don't have to poop. Such an inconvenience, and it makes the bathroom smell bad for hours sometimes.

I agree I would think that better and stronger joints would be a good thing also maybe if someone needed a limb replaced using elememts like Titanium. we have the tools and the procedures now we just need to improve on them for furture use. I also saw in this thread about regeneration after injuries this would be a great thing.
we should also have better brain usage since 7% of the brain is being used at one time is just not a fitting number for human beings its more for a rat or something. I would like to see a increase to 30% of brain usages.
I read somewhere that the normal human brain is only about 5% - 7% active at one time and einstiens brain was active at about 9% - 10% so who know with more brain activity we could not only become smarter but could also cure cancer and becoming a better race. and possibly even explore the stars.

Those with great pride in their bodies or that treat it as a temple, usually eat right, avoid/detour away from mental conflict; and usually have pleasantly appealing bodies.
Youth always has its benefits. We can always override genetics. However, the body can live without the mind, but ask yourself can the mind live without the body?! (no stimulous at all - touch, smell, sight, sound).

Well i think that the body is rather useless (only needed to work/reproduce or assimilate other species like borg )
It would be far more efficient when you could connect your mind/brain to some sort of matrix or a network like the internet. If you want to feel good, then you can tell your brain "i want to feel good" and you feel good. If you want information about something, you dont have to search or learn, you just know it. You mind could be totally free and not bound to the reality, and you wouldnt waste resources. I know that it sounds scary, but you wont mind if you would be in it
But if you only want inprovements of the body itself:
Wings (ability to fly)
Higher brain efficiency
Higher muscle efficiency
"unbreakable" immune system
Better eyes (better resolution, higher light sensivity)
Camouflage skin (would be cool to dynamically change the color )
Less bodyhair
Should require less/no sleeping
Regrowing if anything is cut through
telepathy would be nice too, but not really possible
