The "I just bought/ordered/shipped/received my new iPhone 6/6 Plus" thread

Ok I arranged to pick up my 6+ at ups...and...it worked perfectly. Got my phone at 8:30am this morning. No line, no waiting...just had to dodge a bunch of trucks heading out for deliveries.

First impressions: it is enormously awesome (for ME) I have been cruising around all day today and have not had a single issue with size. In fact, as others have noted, looking back at my 5s is kind of a joke.

Hope to sell on eBay. White/ silver iPhone 6, 64 GB Verizon/ factory unlocked.
 
I ordered both a 128Gb Space Grey iPhone 6 (mine) and a 64Gb silver iPhone 6 (wifey) last night when pre-orders went live here in Stockholm, Sweden. I'll be getting mine later than most of you (expected delivery is Oct. 3rd) but I will live vicariously through watching all of you as you get your phones and plan for your cases and other accessories. :)

They do the same thing with me! They always come so late. FedEx comes right in the morning. I wish Apple used FedEx for moi.
 
So pissed. I have been waiting all day for FedEx, and then I suddenly get a notification that "Package cannot be dropped off because customer is unavailable." I have been home all day - no door knocks, no buzzer rings, etc. I called FedEx and told them that the guy didn't even try, and I have been waiting all morning for this package. They are going to try to get him to come back, but it looks like I might have to make the trek to the FedEx Center tomorrow morning to pick it up myself. Ugh.

Some Day It Will Arrive

I live south of Miami. My phone arrived last night at Miami International and was scanned in somewhere nearby. 45 minutes later it was scanned at a UPS warehouse north of there (the wrong direction) in Hialeah. It has yet to move on the tracking site.

A UPS guy just delivered a phone across the street. When I explained my plight, he said to call UPS. I did, and after half an hour, I was told that my phone was last seen in West Palm Beach, going the wrong way (away from me) about 80 miles from here.

They had no answers, just that when it's ready for delivery they will let me know.

I suggested that it might be headed for Maine or Canada. The fellow on the phone said, "Probably not."

I hate when couriers screw up, out of curiousity how do you know what he delivered accross the street?
 
Been using my utterly gorgeous iPhone 6 plus 128 GB a Gold.

Delivered 10:00 am at work.

PERFECT so far for ME ... The size, looks, etc so far ... So light and thin! Just need a little deeper front pocket jeans. It is almost not a phablet - not noticeable when buried inside the pocket. Love, love, love the white lines at the gold back too.

Didn't arrive yet. Been texting my fiance hourly asking if it has arrived. The fact that it is not at my house yet makes class a little more bearable...
 
Front and back design plus the thinness (and am at awe looking at it sideways) have all the stunning iconic Apple looks.
 
Over a hundred people who camped at Tyson's Corner Apple and other big Apple locations got our 6 Plus this morning. My group was around position #100 and got our choice to walk-in buy 6 or 6 Plus any carrier and size except for 16GB for the 6+. People already resold them on craigslist and eBay, keeping the 2nd one for own use.
 
Picked up iPhone 6 16g silver and local Verizon store

FYI - Might be too late now, put I was also able to get the iPhone 6 silver 16g for my wife today at our local Verizon store.
 
Woke up and got my 6 before work... Attempted to open it while driving down the road, succeeded. Was hoping to activate it on break,but nope. Don't have iCloud back ups, they are on my computer at home. So I must wait. It's very pretty though!

Extremely happy with my 6. It feels big in my hands but not too big. Going down to the Apple store later to try out the 6+ but I already know it's going to feel too big for me. The entire thing feels and looks great. Couldn't be happier.

Hope everyone else gets their iPhone soon!

Don't do it. You will get screen envy and want the 6 Plus. It's so nice.
 
In Store pickup

Did anyone pre-order with in-store pickup? It wasn't my first choice, but Apple wouldn't allow me to have the phone delivered to work (per AT&T, apparently) and I knew no-one would be at home to receive it.

Is there a big long line at the store for preorders? I can't take that much time off work.
