Crappy. I was up bleary-eyed at just after 4am when the iOS store came up and had stock. I guess I must have been one of the first in once the debacle got sorted. I hope that you at least got sleep.
Indeed I did. I actually had a brain daze and though preorders started at 8 am (when store sales started at) so it's my own damn fault lol.
UPS delivers at that time where I live in Miami. I have UPS my choice and sent the package to a nearby UPS retail store where they deliver around 10:30 AM. I was going to redirect the package to work but that option wasn't available and sometimes that delays the shipment a day if it has to transfer from one hub to another.

Seems like that here too, just glad I didn't take the day off otherwise I would be like a kid sitting at the window! Mine is still UPS out for delivery.

I traded my 5C into a gift card this morning for $200 that more than covered AppleCare and the leather case for the new 6 I had reserved. Have my 128 GB 6 in silver all set up and I couldn't be happier. It's a sweet phone and feels great to hold and use.
Nah, mine is in the evening on iPhone launch days. My regular packages are in the evening as well. Anything Amazon Prime is around lunch for some reason though.
I bought the last 64 Silver iphone 6 at a downtown AT&T store in Chicago. I arrived around 9:40 there were only 12 ppl in line. They didnt have any iphone 6Plus and only about 40 phones total.
Mine was scheduled for delivery by UPS by the end of the day, so on my way home from lunch I drover through town and spotted a single UPS truck at a stop. I waited for the guy to come out, and asked him if he had a package for my address, he looked and said yup! He said, you want it now, I said, Yup, he said on that? (Was riding my costume V-ROD) I said yup! He said, Nice Bike BTW, I said thanks! He drove off and I drove off, and I think we were both happy (Restore in progress ......

I'm the opposite. For some reason AT&T shipped my 2 phones with different carriers... One Fedex and one UPS even though I ordered them within 5 minutes of each other. the UPS came in at 10:30am.... Fedex probably wont arrive until this evening.
It seems like when I have something coming they come at like 8 pm and then when I have nothing coming they come at like 9 in the morning.
I'm looking to get my hands on plus. Don't mind waiting, but wouldn't mind having it sooner too. If I place an order on Apple.com to purchase a plus using AT&T Next, would I be able to cancel it if I were to find one at a retail store prior to the order being shipped?

Passed by my local Apple store today. Employees are giving everyone in line free Starbucks Coffee. How nice of them.
Picked up a 64GB 6 - Space Gray. Went to my local AT&T store about an hour and a half after they opened and picked one up. No line and they had all sizes and colors of the 6. They did say they only had 12 6+ this morning and said there were about 30 people waiting in line when they opened.
So I've had my iPhone 6+ 64 gb gold for about 2 hours now.
Battery life is pretty good so far. The screen quality is AMAZING. Went back to see something on my 5S and wow... There's a difference. The size takes getting used to. But that should be no problem.
I will probably pick up my sister from cross country and head to the Apple Store to see the craziness there.
Also, went to trader joes and some employee freaked out, next thing I knew there was a circle of 3 or 4 people around me.

This exactly!!! USPS delivered my case from Amazon at 9am today and my brother just got cymbals via dhl for his drum kit at 11:45!!!! Where is UPS!! They always come here around 5-7pm..... ( fedex is usually between 10:30-12)
