You have mistaken me. Apple packaging came under fire several years ago for being too wasteful. They changed a lot about their packaging for many products as have other companies. This packaging is similar to most of the recent packaging as part of that process. All they've done is change the pictures on the outside this time around. I wasn't arguing that this box was more environmentally friendly that last year's or the year prior. Only that is was ridiculous to complain about the change of what is represented on the outside of the box since it really has nothing to do with the product itself.

I am hoping that I won't be refreshing my UPS app every five minutes to see when my 6 Plus gets delivered!
My Gold 64gb 6+ is on the FedEx truck right now out for delivery. Neighbor is keeping an eye out for the FedEx truck for me.
This is the first time i've ordered an iPhone color other than black. Looks like Best Buy has clear cases in stock for the iP6+ too so i'll head over there tomorrow morning and pick one up. I ordered a Spigen case for it on Amazon yesterday, won't arrive till the end of the month though.

I just called the store and they told me they wouldn't come unlocked and I'd have to wait 2-3 months to unlock one.

My husband and I were number 7 in line at our local verizon store at 5:30 am to pick up my husbands 16g space gray iphone 6 plus, they opened at 8. They handed out number cards at about 7:40. We were able to trade in his less than a year old gold 5s (we only paid 199 for it) for the price of the new phone and only paid for the activation fee and a new case for it. What a sweet deal in our eyes!

Picked up a iPhone 6 at UPS at 8:15. Its beautiful and feels good in your hand. iPhone 6 Plus would have been too big. IMO the 6 is perfect size.

Also for anyone who ordered the iphone tmobile it is unlocked just dont use the tmobile sim put in the sim your going to use before you turn on the phone

😛😀Just getting my iPhone 6 set up. I pre-ordered a 128GB at noon on the first day. It took just under one hour after I arrived in line at Scottsdale's Apple Store to get the phone and deactivate and trade in my 6c.
As usually the Apple Store was at the top of it's game. The non-pre-order folks got to stand there on the other side of the store's giant glass windows at the back of the store and watch the pre-order gang get their phones.
The AT&T early trade up cost $250.00. The Apple Store trade in was $175.00 making the 6c cost 2.08333 per month to own. Not bad at all.
As usually the Apple Store was at the top of it's game. The non-pre-order folks got to stand there on the other side of the store's giant glass windows at the back of the store and watch the pre-order gang get their phones.

6 and 6 Plus
I ordered a gold 6 for my wife and a 6 Plus for myself from Apple's site, the morning after it went on sale, as we forgot to do it at midnight. My wife's arrived about an hour ago (we're in LA and we generally get UPS deliveries in the AM). Unfortunately, the 6 Plus was already at 3-4 weeks so I won't get it until the middle of October or later.

I ordered mine around 3am on the iPad mini application, got a reservation number.
Put the order in immediately the next morning, and got a 9/19 delivery date.
Boring and simple right?
I'm actually leaving my home right now to go on a 3 day company paid retreat- at 10:30AM PST.
Mission to get it before then- called up UPS and had the lady guarantee (not really, but basically sweared, lol) that it would be ready by then.
She said that the trailer usually gets backed up around midnight (11PM, actually), and then they start unloading in the wee hours.
I left my 5S on loud ring, heard the notification at 3am, saw it was a friend, heard another at 5am, sure enough- iPhone checked in and ready for pickup!!!

If I don't end up liking the 6 Plus size, I'm thinking about swapping fora regular six.

Just picked up my 6Plus 128GB from the UPS Customer Center.
It's.... beautiful! It just feels so good to hold, I'm gonna regret putting a case on this.
And the screen is amazing, currently downloading Captain America: The Winter Soldier to see how it handles video.

Per the wife, my toy as she termed it, my AT&T (ordered on the AT&T website on pre-order launch day) 64GB 6 is at home waiting. Delivered by FedEx at 12:30 EST.
Mine came 10 minutes after waking up. What a better way to start the day.
Extremely happy with my 6. It feels big in my hands but not too big. Going down to the Apple store later to try out the 6+ but I already know it's going to feel too big for me. The entire thing feels and looks great. Couldn't be happier.

I told myself I was holding out on this new iPhone. That changed when I passed an ATT store. Saw the people in line for it. Chuckled to myself. I then passed by the best buy down the street from that ATT and saw only 4 people in line. I don't know why but I pulled into the best buy parking. It wasn't until the best buy associated asked what iPhone interested in. I then replied "you got the any of the iPhone 6 64GB?." He was like yeah. 20mins later, I'm an owner of a iPhone 6. Hahaha
