There's a little air bubble looking mark on the right side of my 6+ gold 64gb. I'm wondering how do I get it replaced...
If you live near an Apple Store I've heard most people have very good experiences taking bad iPhones in, regardless of where you bought it, especially soon after launch.
At the moment they probably don't have a replacement on hand, but it may be quicker than mailing it back or waiting for your carrier to get stock.
In my experience with shipping it almost always gets delivered before the estimated dates, but comes down to whether the one you want is in high demand.
But will I be left without a phone in the meantime? That's my biggest concern. I just sold my 5s yesterday and I can't survive without a phone for more than a few hours.
I don't think they'd leave you without a phone; I dunno, I've never broken an iPhone (knock on... something). I would hope they'd give you a call when they could give you a replacement, I've never heard of them doing a loaner.
In other news, my phatty phone has left Korea, bound for Alaska. Because I know you all care.
I called Apple - Support and told them that I was not satisfied with the manufacturing quality. They said that they're going to send me a replacement unit within 3-5 business days. My current phone will be picked up in 6-7 days, I don't have an exact date scheduled yet. So I won't be without a phone at any time.

Thanks!! I started a chat with a support rep and she schedule a call for today at 2:15 EST, let's see what they tell me. It's a very minimal flaw, but for a device worth $849+ tax I expect nothing but perfection.

I also saw that Russians are playing games with their air force up near Alaska and Canada. If they shoot down my iPhone there will be hell to pay. I'm talkin time for Slim Pickens from Dr. Strangelove.

By the way, last night I was very bored so I grabbed bf's ipad mini and my ipad air, his 4s (he's waiting on a 6 this week), my old 5s and my new 6 plus and took a picture of all together.
It's white, we don't really like the look of the space gray/ black devices...
The only bad thing is that I sold the 5s and I'm shipping it today, so by the time the 6 arrives there won't be a 5s to take pictures with
got 3 iPhone 6's over the weekend at AT&T... exchanged some old iPhone 4's for a $200 credit....

Was planning to get the 6 plus for myself. But then I saw it. Way too big for me. I loved the screen, but the size would limit me. I need a phone I can stick in my jeans.
The new 6 is fantastic; just wished it had come with the Sapphire Glass... oh well, maybe on the next phone.
Video is fantastic on it. The camera works amazingly well for a cell phone, and the speed is great. Love the new OS. Even the fingerprint stuff works.
The only problem I noticed is that they heat up a bit when plugged in to charge. Not really that bad, but I wonder if that will be a problem later (seem to recall another phone doing that, and it was fixed with a software update, as I recall).

Your phone case will cover the lil blemish. Don't worry I am sure the phone will work just fine with a minor imperfection!
Screen protector? Necessary?
I'll do a search of this forum as well, but wondering if anyone has a recommendation on a screen protector for the 6. Got a Spigen case for now that seems to cover the lip of the screen well, but curious to see if others think a) it needs one b) if so, which one is recommended. Thanks!

I made a complete post in the Apple preorder thread, but I'll note here that my Sept 12 64 GB 6 Plus, space gray, order was originally showing a delivery of Oct 1-6. I got my shipment email this morning for delivery Wednesday, Sept 24, about a week earlier than the soonest projection.
So, ordered Sept 12, will be delivered Sept 24, at least according to UPS tracking.
I'll be happy. In the Dallas area, there is zero iPhone 6 store availability at Apple or AT&T. None, zip, nada-not any model, size or color.

If that was your phone with the imperfection I am sure you would get a replaced!
I'm pretty similar - the original estimate was Oct. 1-6 for me, and now scheduled for Thursday. If I had never read this thread and realized some were getting the +'s last Friday I wouldn't be jealous

I wasn't due for an upgrade till next July from AT&T. However I had an upgrade with Verizon, so I took it and got a iPhone 6 white 64 gig and I couldn't be happier about it. I just walked into the Verizon store and they still had plenty. Didn't cost me but the upgrade fee. Traded in my less then a year old 5s for the price of the new one. I'm sure I could have sold it for more on Ebay, but I needed instant gratification. I love it! Now we have a Plus and a 4.7 in the house.

I think the pluses are hard to find everywhere. I wouldn't cancel until after you find one... You could get lucky and find the one you want after a shipment comes in.
It's funny, I have a plus on the way (flying over Canada right now) but I'm not sure I'm going to like it. It was almost 4am, I was tired, I thought, "bigger is better!" Click. The case arrived from Amazon. Damn that's big.
I think I'll still keep it most likely... But I'm a little nervous tbh.
