Same, and I ordered within the first 5 minutes of when the Apple Online Store started accepting orders.
It says you can't cancel or return during the shipping process. You can return after you recive your phone. But the process is too far along for it to be stopped at this point.What does the sentence ( not eligible to cancel or return) means? We have return policy inapple for 14 days. Then what does this sentence says.

So do you think the transition from processing to preparing for shipment, etc. is based on the credit card company approving the transaction? Because my cc company is closed on the weekends (customer service not open at least) and it's stayed at processing for a while without approving the charge.

I remember in earlier versions, when i ordered the phones they would come directly from China. From what I've seen people posting they are coming from the states. Anybody have one shipped from China this time. (mine is still getting ready for shipment)

No serial number yet, can not trace it it by reference number.

I have come to the conclusion that there really is no rhyme or reason as to when we will receive our orders. I ordered thru apple on 9-12 at 5:25am eastern and still shows me processing. People that ordered same model as mine after me, have received their shipment notifications.
No, as of 4PM ET Sunday 9/14. order is still "Processing," card has not been charged (They did do a pre-approval of $0 Friday morning)
I have the 7-10 business day shipping - Arrival time Oct 1-6 also.
I don't think the delivery date will be affected much by when it flips from processing to preparing for shipment to shipped this far out. If you ordered from Apple and it says 9/19 delivery you'll have it by 9/19.

exactly. relax. everyone take a deep breath. who cares if it's still processing? it's Sunday! I'm sure everyone's status will be changed by Tuesday at the latest, like other years.
Apple will not mess this up. There's tons of phones already on US Soil. literal tons.

Both are Sprint ordered via apple app 1 hr apart starting 1 hour after launch. There's hope. And they for held up due to previous fraud but I spoke with a specialist yesterday that cleared everything up.

I got right in to the Apple Store at 3 am Eastern and made it to check out. I wanted to use my Sprint upgrade but was puzzled to see "You will be eligible for an upgrade on June 1, 2013".
I called Sprint customer service in the morning and they were predictably useless. I then called Apple Store CS who hung up on me twice.
Finally I bit the bullet and pre ordered at the Sprint store. We'll see how long it takes....
Anyone else run into a stupid upgrade glitch like this with Apple's website?

Yesterday mine switched to "Preparing for Shipment", but today it switched back to "Processing Items". It stills says that it's going to be delivered on 9/19 though!
I went to my local AT&T store a few hours ago. I asked them if I could come in Friday and pick up a phone and I had to explain to them that I had ordered already online but my ship date was five weeks away and I did not want to wait The rep said I could definitely do that, but I would have to cancel my preorder before I came into the store, he further explained that they did not have the capability of canceling an order.

Haha, I did the exact same thing. I met up with my dad on the weekend who has a Note 3, and holy crap, I didn't realize how huge it is. I'm seriously going to have to put my wallet in a different pocket because it isn't going to fit with my phone.
