The "I just bought/ordered/shipped/received my new iPhone 6/6 Plus" thread

Not sure why so many people are concerned that their phone hasn't shipped yet. Truth is, they can ship it out on Wednesday and it'll still get to most people's doorsteps by Friday.

I ordered an AT&T iPhone 6 and 6 Plus on launch night from Apple's website as a new customer. It made me do two separate orders because you can't start two new lines from one order. I ordered the 6 Plus first and both orders show to be delivered on launch day.

I noticed that the 6 Plus is still in processing while the 6 is preparing to ship so called Apple to make sure everything was OK just in case. I waited and hour on hold and then spoke to a rep that assured me everything was fine but then decided to double check to be safe. He informed but that AT&T has holding up the 6 Plus order for some reason so I need to call them.

I called AT&T and spoke to several reps over the course of an hour and they all said their was nothing they could do because the order went through Apple. I called Apple back and waited another hour and asked to speak to a supervisor. The supervisor informed but that there was some type of disconnect during the order with AT&T and that it is going to be automically cancelled but that I can start a new order (which means I'll now be waiting weeks)

I asked to speak to his manager and he declined saying it was a waste of time because they would only tell me the same thing. Maybe this is the case but I still wanted to take it up the chain. After fighting with him for some time he reluctantly agree to have someone call me back with 24 hours.

At this time the Plus order still shows processing to be delivered on launch day. What a horrible experience!

I'm a bit nervous now. Since my status changed from "Preparing for Shipment" back to "Processing" and I received some weird e-mail from Verizon specifying that an order was cancelled (which I think was cancellation for my first iPhone order). I'm on hold now... I just want to make sure everything is okay.

I am just really anticipating this thing and i want to get it before i go out of town on friday. hopefully it goes through correct since the charge is already pending on through chase.

I'm with us there. I would still like to have it on the 19th though
 
Order in France

Hi guys, I'm going to be in Paris on the 23rd and because of that, ordered mine through the French Apple Online Store. Its status is preparing for shipment and it is expected to be delivered on the 19th. When do you think it will ship to be delivered on the 19th? I'm refreshing the page like crazy and it would be good to have an idea of when it'll change.
Also, if there's anyone ordering one in France, what is your order status?

They keynote and the pre order was such a mess. They keynote had streaming issues and now all this. This has been pretty bad this year. Steve Jobs probably turning in his grave on this one
 
Preorder Pickup

My guess for people opting to pick up their phones on the 19th is that they will not see anything passed processing, except maybe a shipped to store notification the day before. The phones are likely already at their respective stores, and no preparing is required beyond selecting a phone for preorder. Has anyone who is picking up their phone seen anything passed processing?

This would have never happened if Steve jobs was still alive..

Just an absolute disaster. But still can't wait for the phone.

No i have 1 pre order in store pick up and the other one is a delivery and they are both processing..
 
Mine has shipped through Verizon. I am in Florida and it's coming from West Chester, PA with a date of arrival 9/18. (hoping sooner ;))
 
I got a iphone 6+ 64GB (Sliver) from Verizon on 09/12/2014 & my date says Deliver By: 10/28/2014 it's been about 2 days now & they have not even processed my order I sent on 09/12/2014 so if I dont get my phone on Sept. 19 then its the last time I will ever order anything from Verizon agin & I may just cancle my whole service
when you pre order something you inspect to get it on the date it comes out in stores not 30 days or more down the road and it is unfair to us who pre order it when they give it to everyone else 1st

For those who have tracking numbers, UPS or FexEx?

I'm hoping apple is using FedEx since they usually deliver around 11am to my area, where as UPS is only around 6pm.
