Both are Sprint ordered via apple app 1 hr apart starting 1 hour after launch. There's hope. And they for held up due to previous fraud but I spoke with a specialist yesterday that cleared everything up.

How do you have a different font on your iphone screen? Jail break?
 
Yesterday mine switched to "Preparing for Shipment", but today it switched back to "Processing Items". It stills says that it's going to be delivered on 9/19 though!
You should call Apple to check on it. The exact same thing happened when I preordered the iPhone 5. It was at preparing to ship and downgraded to processing. It still said it was going to be delivered on launch day, but then when I called they said there was a glitch in their system and it would be a week late.
 
Ordered one right at 2:25am through Apple's iPad App.
Got a reservation number since the carrier information could not be verified.
Got my reservation time slot at 9:38am, and put an order in at 9:54am.

Got an iPhone 6 Plus 64GB Silver on Verizon- no contract so paid that full price.
Good thing work is offering to pay 60% of it :rolleyes:;)

My Discover card got caught for fraud, cleared it up through Discover instantly, but Apple wasn't having it.
Received an email at 12:02pm and changed payment info around 2pm.
Went through, and now Preparing for Shipment for 9/19 delivery!

Two questions:
1. If I don't like the 5.5", I can take it back and grab a 4.7" with no hassle- within 14 days?
2. Has anyone had experience with iPhones being delivered prior to 10am?
I am leaving for a company retreat at 10:30am, and this would be the perfect test to see if I like it for the three day retreat!
(I know their replacement parts always get shipped via FedEx before 10am, is this same for phone pre-orders?)
 
I ordered the 6+ in ontario and it is listed as processing items likely your status will change soon to "preparing to ship". Mine on the other hand appears to be shipping next month :..(

Crappy. I was up bleary-eyed at just after 4am when the iOS store came up and had stock. I guess I must have been one of the first in once the debacle got sorted. I hope that you at least got sleep. :)

Mine is still showing processing and probably won't change until next weekend. However while others are seeing theirs preparing for shipment no matter if shipped early or not, they still will have to wait until Sep 19th for delivery.

Thing is, after the first wave is delivered on Sep 19th, then if mine is shipped early it could arrive early too and not in the scheduled time of Oct 1st -Oct 7th.
So there is a small chance that I would get mine before the scheduled date of Oct 1st and maybe be lucky and get it delivered by Sep 24th at earliest since it is showing that the iPhones are already in the states shipping from USA and not from China. So I am hoping that is what happens. Will it? Time will tell.
 
Extreme disappointment

I'm livid with Apple right now!

I ordered an AT&T iPhone 6 and 6 Plus on launch night from Apple's website as a new customer. It made me do two separate orders because you can't start two new lines from one order. I ordered the 6 Plus first and both orders show to be delivered on launch day.

I noticed that the 6 Plus is still in processing while the 6 is preparing to ship so called Apple to make sure everything was OK just in case. I waited and hour on hold and then spoke to a rep that assured me everything was fine but then decided to double check to be safe. He informed but that AT&T has holding up the 6 Plus order for some reason so I need to call them.

I called AT&T and spoke to several reps over the course of an hour and they all said their was nothing they could do because the order went through Apple. I called Apple back and waited another hour and asked to speak to a supervisor. The supervisor informed but that there was some type of disconnect during the order with AT&T and that it is going to be automically cancelled but that I can start a new order (which means I'll now be waiting weeks)

I asked to speak to his manager and he declined saying it was a waste of time because they would only tell me the same thing. Maybe this is the case but I still wanted to take it up the chain. After fighting with him for some time he reluctantly agree to have someone call me back with 24 hours.

At this time the Plus order still shows processing to be delivered on launch day. What a horrible experience!
 
A few minutes ago Apple finally charged my CC for my in store pickup order (4.7" 6, 128GB, space gray). Still "processing", but progress is being made slowly but surely.
 
Does anyone know if when you do in store pickup Apple will take your old phone for credit then?

The usually do, but with a launch day rush I'd feel like a jerk for asking. Maybe I'll just do the mail in.... :confused:

iphone 6 and 6 plus (9/19)

I ordered 2 iphones and my orders have said "processing order" since i ordered them. the two orders are pending on the credit card. i am kind of worried that something is wrong.....
 
I went to my local AT&T store a few hours ago. I asked them if I could come in Friday and pick up a phone and I had to explain to them that I had ordered already online but my ship date was five weeks away and I did not want to wait The rep said I could definitely do that, but I would have to cancel my pre-order before I came into the store, he further explained that they did not have the capability of canceling an order.

You may not have to wait 5 weeks though. I personally am not going to even consider cancelling my order unless my status is exactly the same come Wednesday, which I doubt.

It will be hell trying to get a 6+ from the store on launch day or shortly after IMO. I could be wrong though.

I was thinking the same thing. 7-10 business days is Sept 23, way before the Oct 1st-Oct7th. If it ships early they won't hold it. We will see. Fingers crossed.
 
So if mine says preparing for shipment - delivery 19/9 - 23/9 I should be ok right?
the phone does not appear in the support page but the charge does appear on my card (in full) - (in authorized transactions) as its the weekend (is my guess)
