Got on the phone with apple cause I'm slightly obsessed and basically all those with 128gb 6+ Expected 9/19 the way I was explained , or chose to take it was that all those are stateside sitting in a warehouse somewhere waiting a few to be shipped out. Hence why stuck in the preparing for shipment purgatory with no tracking or serial number yet. Hope that helped. Can't wait for my phone. #

I remember that year fondly. I remember tracking from China to Anchorage, to Ontario, CA (no, not that Ontario, CA... the stateside one) etc... I remember finding the flight numbers and listening to air traffic control because I was worried my phone would be lost in the blizzard... Ahhh memories
you are lucky . some of us has to wait until next month Oct 1-7th.. bummer.

I got a free case as well!!!! I had my husband call in while I was working and they asked him if I preferred leather or silicone, and what my favorite color was. Long story short I have a free leather midnight blue case shipping to me along side my new iPhone!

Well, my husband was rather upset with them at first because my order status had changed from preparing for shipment BACK to processing items but after talking with a supervisor and then back with an advisor again my husband calmed down and then that's when they offered him the case. So be friendly and polite.
Oh okay. Unfortunately, I don't really have much to complain about (except that I can't find my phone via ups/supportprofile) so I don't think I'd get very far just asking for a free case xP

I ordered an iPhone 6 16gb in Gold for att. I looked up my serial then I also looked up the tracking on ups.com using my phone number. From there I looked up the built date on

I ordered my iPhone 6+ 64gb in Gold for att also the serial number was available
Build week was September week 35.
My account shows preparing for shipment on both phones but I do have my tracking number ahead of my shipping email. It just shows ready for ups label created 9/15 so I can't wait to get them on Friday!!!
This is the first year I've ordered through Apple as the last couple of years I have done my pre orders through Best Buy.

Tell me about it. I'm on a cheap samsung smartphone and i want to throw it to the wall. 4.4.2 already but feels like gingerbread. Lagtastic.
Last Friday, I ordered two iPhones from the Apple Store APP:
6 Plus - Space Gray - 16GB. -3:35am - Del Date 9/19 - For my husband
6 Plus - Gold -64GB - 3:48am - Del Date 9/19 - For me
Thrilled! Only to realize, to my dismay, that I'd mistakenly ordered him a 6 Plus, when he only wanted a 6. Finally got thru to Apple on the phone Sunday morning, and the rep was very helpful. Checked supply status and cancelled the 6+ order for me and advised me to wait an hour or so for AT&T upgrade eligibility to reset, then place another order for the correct phone. All went perfectly, and his Delivery date remained 9/19!
Funny thing is, although his corrected order was placed approximately 37 hours later than was mine, I was able to find a UPS Tracking Number yesterday morning for him while mine has yet to be found!
My phone's SN has finally shown up on my support profile this morning, so I'm hoping to see a Tracking Number follow soon.

I've been in "Preparing for Shipment" limbo since Saturday night - no Support page update and no UPS tracking number. (6+/128/Silver/AT&T from Apple)
I wonder if it's stateside already?
I know it won't arrive until Friday but I was hoping for a new piece of information to obsess over

I ordered my phone from Apple's app and got my confirmation email at 3:25 EST on the 12th. My status changed from processing to Preparing for Shipment on Saturday night and it's stayed there.....no phone in my profile yet and I tried the reference tracking for UPS - it found "something" but no tracking number yet.....I keep refreshing the pages like mad woman only to see the same thing....but I called Apple yesterday and they told me my phone would be delivered on the 19th and I probably wouldn't see a change on my order status again until Wednesday or Thursday.....grrrr

iPhone 6 SG 128GB contract free. Showed up overnight in my apple support, and on UPS using the reference tracking. Delivers 9/19.
Haha, that's more or less what I assumed at this point! In previous preorders for Apple products I'd been in the group coming from China so this just feels unusual to me

Both of my phones are finally shipping! I have one 16gb Space grey 6+ on AT&T that is shipping from Mount Juliet, Tennessee. The label was printed on the 13th and it hasn't moved since (I'm assuming that's because it's so close). Serial number on the support page says that is was built in week 35 (whatever week in September that was).
My 16gb 6+ on Sprint shipped from Zheng Zhou, China and departed on 9-16 at 6:52 Local time (don't know what time that is here though). The serial number from the support page says that is was made in week 37 (also in September but don't know when).
Is it sad that I'm kind of happy that my phone is coming from China so that I can obsessively track it and watch it as it gets here? Kinda had fun with that when I preordered the 5.
