Ordered the iPhone 6 64GB Space Grey on 9/12 at 3:50 EST. Order still says preparing for shipment. Been this way for about two days. Still says for delivery on 9/19 though. Hopefully they're right about that delivery. I CAN'T WAIT! 🙂😛

So just to make sure everyone who ordered through Apple.com and are scheduled for a 9/19 delivery have not received a shipping notice email from Apple right? Mine says preparing for shipment.
Mine says the same, however mine did show up on UPS.COM and departed from ZhengZhou, China at 11:00pm local time which would have been about 12 hours ago or so.
how did you find it on UPS.com? do you have to be a member? Please shoot me some info!! lol I'm so impatient
no you dont have to be a member. my friend tried to do his but it did not work so it could be who and where you ordered it from. I got mine from apple and i got a 6plus 64gb for verizon. anyways this is how i got it...
go to ups.com
at the top click tracking
then click track shipments
then on the left hand where it has blue panes, click track by reference
type your phone number no dashes, also i tracked it as a package

I have so many posts on that thread.
That's one of the years we tracked all the way from China to Nashville. Then the bunch of phones broke up and went separate ways. It was less than 24 hours until delivery. I plan on giving that 5 to my son, in a few days.
My wife just told me that her work wants her to hold off, because iOS8 is not compatible with Lotus Notes. So we can't upgrade her yet. It kinda slows things down, not being able to give everyone their phone.
Funny how each and every year is different, not one year, the process is the same.
Did the ups reference thing with my phone and shows leaving zenchu, China at 11pm. Yes I know misspelled it. But it's cool to see it's actually on its way. Got the 128 silver AT&T 6 plus.

Order mine through Sprint site at 3:50am nite of launch, Iphone 6 plus 16 GB Grey, only received order number from Sprint, states 4-6 delivery🙁
I think mine is on the same plane is yours. if I remember correctly it will probably show up in anchorage soon, stay there for a day or two and then go to louisville. After that its to the city we are in.

Will the support profile eventually show up for everyone who ordered through apple?
In past years I ordered through AT&T and it never has, but this year i ordered via apple store app

My two cents is everyone who ordered via apple will show up in the support profile. If u ordered via sprint then there's pretty much zero chance as there's no way sprint would have your Apple ID.

I would assume yours must already be stateside in a warehouse.. What time did you get a confirmation email?
I've been in "Preparing for Shipment" limbo since Saturday night - no Support page update and no UPS tracking number. (6+/128/Silver/AT&T from Apple)
I wonder if it's stateside already?
I know it won't arrive until Friday but I was hoping for a new piece of information to obsess over 😉
