I'm sure it's a different situation with everyone. Some people on here said the representative just gave it to them, maybe others casually asked about a case, maybe they complained about their order and got one that way.

Same here. I placed the order for a IP6 + 128G using the apple app at 12:12 am ET. Got the email immediately with the order number. $0 because of Next. Just the taxes and was charged immediately.

I wonder if the silver iPhone plus' won't ship till the last minute. Maybe the silver is still being polished
Mine is hopefully on the same flight, very similar tracking, I just do not have the more recent departure... I know it can take a little time for the systems to catch up.

On the phone now with Apple, super nice and friendly guy. Offered me a case each for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6+. I didn't even have to say anything, he was just like "yeah so I'd like to offer you a free case for the shipment information not being updated yet." Yay!!!!

I was sitting by my door at 10pm, making "reasons UPS might come this late" that night. It said Out for Delivery for almost a week. One day I come home from work to a UPS sticker on the door for an attempt. Apple stepped up, shipped out a replacement ASAP, and I drove to the hub that night haha

The driver didn't steal it, someone likely distracted the driver while a buddy jumped in the truck and gabbed one of 500 "look-alike" boxes. Happened to be mine
My UPS truck goes through a REAL rough area before coming to my nicer neighborhood.
