From memory I don't think we did get it until it hit North America. Not that it really matters either way just fun to chat about the process as I find it fascinating how a company like Apple, Ups, Fedx can output 4 million phones in a launch day
 
Still waiting for tracking #, I pre-ordered Sprint iPhone 16GB Gold using Apple Store app at 4:58AM EST 9/12. Still in "Preparing for Shipment" for 9/19 delivery, I also got a free leather case. By the way, the date for the case changed from 9/23 to 9/19 :):)

Sorry for the late reply, but as long as the order isn't showing that your payment is declined, there's no reason to fret.

If the phone has posted to your Support Profile, it will actually give you your serial number there.
 
I pre-ordered mine from sprint.com on the 12th at 2pm est time.

I still don't have a tracking number and I talked to a sprint operator a few minutes ago. He confirmed that there are no delays on my order for the iPhone 6 and that I should receive a confirmation email as soon as it is shipped through UPS.

But on the order status page it says:

Your pre-order for the 16GB iPhone 6 is at our warehouse. Orders placed prior to 5:00 pm CT on 9/13, we¿ll do our best to get it to you by 9/19. Orders placed after 5:00 pm CT on 9/13 will ship in up to 3 weeks from order date. Keep an eye out for a shipping email with your tracking information. Thank you for your patience. For the latest shipping timelines, visit sprint.com/preorder.

I'm so excited, I'm new to the Apple world! I've used Samsung Android phones for years. Decided to make the switch as soon as I heard the iPhone is coming up with ApplePay in October and the design is amazing. :D
 
Ordered.

Ordered a 64gb iPhone 6+ in space grey. I was happy at first, but then saw the "3-4 weeks" dispatch date :(. A painfully long wait.

Mine has almost the same exact line of progress. I am betting it will ship tonight.
 
So I checked my credit card and the charge for my iPhone that was under pending transactions is no longer there, it just disappeared.
 
iPhone 6 16g, Apple still says its preparing for shipment, but checked UPS and its coming Friday, and its in TN right now.

very strange that my phone is coming UPS, but I signed up for My Choice on UPS and it showed it for shipment on Friday. I changed my delivery to "Will Call to Pick up" So I'll pick it up at my UPS station! Definitely will leave a little bit early from work to get it since it closes at 6.

Hah.... I am in the EXACT same situation as you. As soon as UPS alerted me, I got excited and requested to pick up at a station. Will be stopping in over lunch hour.

Elk Grove, (California) They have an Apple plant there. They used to make iMacs and G4 towers there. Then it was designated an iPhone Call Center. I know people who have worked there and came to take a position where I work, and left where I work, to take a position there.

So, for your information, Elk Grove is not some sort of distribution center, like UPS or such. It is actual Apple owned warehousing, manufacturing, support and development. So you could say your phone was sent to you from Apple, directly, not by some third party.

Hey I had this happen to me

it was in authorized and boom disappeared (still showed in credit limit I was charged for it)

waited till today and it properly posted to the card statement :)

anyone in canada that ordered from apple able to track their iphone? mine still says preparing with nothing on ups

I just spoke with Apple and they said that happens when they are about to ship and actually fully charge your card. They said I should be receiving my tracking info tomorrow or Thursday.

Oh and I got a leather case :)
 
My UPS tracking says it's sitting in TN at the moment. Since it's already in the US and it's being shipped via UPS's Next Day Air, I'm guessing it won't actually ship until Thursday?
