I'm happy that was all the "upgrade" was. I just bought one a few months back and hate not having the best.

How would anyone know that you don't have the 2013 model?

It's annoying with Apple... the slightest change and it's a big deal. :/

I was amazed by the level of commitment to trolling on the first page of this thread until I looked at the post dates...

So based on what the rumors says, there will be no design changes, we are suspecting to get like ipad line 10h of usage and like they start with the iphone 5/ipad and now with imac to turn down the heat of this aluminium bodies.

Nearly four and a half years of waiting I just dropped my order for my maxed out 15" retina Haswell machine. I can;t wait for it to get here. Debated the 13" but decided the 15" is a pound lighter than my 2008 C2D 15" machine. I've had a 2011 Air in the interim but really will welcome the power of the full spec 15. Crazy, four and a half years. . ..

Ha, cancelled the online order. Local store had the maxed version in stock. After 4.5 years I've now got my Haswell. p.s. all of those other "waiting for" threads are posers. this was the original. . ..

Haha, I agree, and congrats for your Haswell, I can't wait mine rMBP with dGPU to come... :) You can start now "I'm waiting for 2018 MBP" thread...:D

You got to be kidding me right? Haswell? I think ill enjoy using my mac while you wait for your Haswell. Add to your list with it USB 3.0, Firewire 3200, SATA 6.0, PCI Express 3.0.

Then no more hard drives. All SSD but not just any kind of SSD... nooooooo. The ones that are so fast they need PCI Express 2.0 or 3.0 cause they are too fast for SATA.

Amusing post from over four years ago! Funny that yes, USB 3.0 and PCIe SSDs were added! Someone get this guy an analyst job! :D
