You're assuming it means a mode for taking into a theatre. Rather than turning your device into a 'theatre' screen, to give one counter example.

Agreed. Apple rarely releases anything on a Thursday, but if they did, it would probably be the public release of 10.2.1.

I agree with this. 10.3 unlikely till Monday. But we very well could see public release of 10.2.1 today or tomorrow. Unless there are issues that they are working on. I think someone posted that earlier.
