I was seriously considering the 14 Plus until it launched with a starting price of £949. Sadly the 14 Pro Max wasn’t just £200 more here so the 13 Pro Max became a more attractive option. It ended up being slightly cheaper than the 14 Plus.
Apple products used to be very simple and straightforward. The most you chose was color, and maybe more memory. Now, the number of choices are overwhelming and confusing. And confusing customers has always been the antithesis of what Apple is about.

Worse still, Apple concocted this plethora of choices during the worst supply chain crisis if thirty years, so the ultimate choice is too often whatever the store has in stock.

The way i feel when going to a place that has 100 items on the menu.

The iPhone 14 plus sales is even worst then mini.

What are you basing this on? Numbers I've seen for the U.S. showed iPhone 14 Plus sales accounting for a much greater portion of overall iPhone sales in December 2022 than the portion iPhone 13 mini sales accounted for in December 2021. Do you have global numbers that show something significantly different?
