Anyone using EFI-X with Snow Leopard
Right now I am up and running fine with 10.5.6 on my EFI-X Hackintosh. I have a 5 pack of SL and one of those licenses is dying to be installed on my EFI-X setup. Anyone get it working yet? The EFI-X forums are all suspiciously down now and have been since SL came out.

Does your Dell Hackintosh work with full resolution of your screen? What version do you use ?
Up and running on my Wind U100 on an external drive. Only problem is wake from sleep causes the system to freeze after a few seconds. Shouldn't be too hard to sort that out. I am keeping Leopard for a little while yet, as Snow Leopard is still a bit wet behind the ears.
motion and video editting
for the people who do video editting on their machines, what is the beefiest card you can get on your machine?
I am looking to make a video editting monster for school.
and yes, i do need a good video card since I am not only doing editting but motion as well.

anyone using ACD with hackin?
i dont see any pc graphics card come with a mini display port
One of the manufacturers released one recently, I'm pretty sure I saw it on here.
I'm not sure anyone would want to spring for a ACD considering you can get a pretty nice 24" display for under $300 these days.
What's the easiest method nowadays for installing 10.6? My current hackintosh is a Kalyway distro. Everything was compatible and worked out of the box, only thing I had to do was EFI strings for my 9600GT. I haven't kept up with the scene so I don't know what the new hotness is.

i am keen on a vanilla install, but am somewhat confused by the processes/files needed for it to run properly

Have a look at LifeHacker's How to Build a Hackintosh with Snow Leopard, Start to Finish, which outlines how to install Snow Leopard using the retail disk via PC EFI, etc...

I just ordered this laptop guys and i want to install OSX on it.
Its a dell studio 1555 T6500 Core 2 Duo and Intel Graphics Accelerator 4500MHD From what i read its hard to run this laptop in its native resolution because of the graphics card. But ive seen people run it in its native resolution. I already downloaded kalyway 10.5.2 and the combo update and iam waiting for the laptop to come on the mail. Can you guys point me in the right direction of how to make a successful hackintosh on my dell?

I got your PM, the resolution works on mine (1280x800) but I have issues with the mouse turning into a bunch of static in a square on mine. The script is attached.
Make sure you remove the copy of the patched x3100 kext without FB on the end or it will not boot
Looks like the Dell Mini 10V netbook can be readily Hackintoshed with SL, provided the bios is A04 or A05...
