Is it just me, but like none of these returned my Apple Watch posts make any sense. Here is the gist, I bought the watch, loved it! But returned it 3 days later or... bought the watch, loved it but too expensive so returned it but I picked another one up on eBay! Repeat for 15+ pages and you have this tread summarised in 3 lines.
You have a very valid point. I was at the T-Mobile store this weekend picking up a 6S Plus and managed to grab another watch, this one I won't be returning as I've realized that the watch is meant to compliment the phone as oppose to replace the phone.
I'm thinking about buying this one but for $400++; I don't know if its worth it after all these stories about returning it I'm seeing http://www.amazon.com/Apple-Watch-Sport-Space-Aluminum/dp/B00WUKULAC
You are talking about selling the 42 Sport at half the current price! Assuming that the $50 for a Sports band is pure profit, you'll have to get someone to buy 4 extra bands to make up the $200 difference. And you've got to admit, price conscious consumers who find $350-400 too expensive for a smart watch are the least likely to buy extra bands.
Also, does this hypothetical $200 watch have all the same features as the $350-400 watch?
I'm inclined to say Apple does know what it's doing with the pricing. Maybe next year, they'll offer the older models for $50-100 less, and that way the price-conscious consumers will have something to buy. But it's okay if not everyone buys a watch this year. The platform is still developing, and the truth is, early adopters are beta testing this thing. If those people who think $350-400 is too expensive buy one this year, many of them will probably end up returning it, because it doesn't "just work."
Totally agree 1,000,000%
I was agreeing that $200 is likely too low a price.Based upon what. What is the cost to make the watch. The accessories are likely pure profit.
So you are claiming that "most" of the millions and millions of people who bought Apple Watches have returned them? If you are basing this on what you are seeing in this thread, which is titled "I returned/sold my Apple Watch because..."I can see where you might believe that. Maybe you should expand your sample size. Some bit and most regretted and returned.
Can you please post some pics and tell us how your new watch is? I've been looking at Cowboom and want some feedback before I buy from them. ThanksAfter returning my Space Gray Sport, I'm gonna try a used SBSS since they are only $400 on Cowboom.
I'm planning on returning mine tomorrow. I've only had it for nine days so I can still return it with the first 14 days of ownership, right?
I purchased a 42mm Gold Sport w/Midnight Blue and I think it looks wonderful. However, I'm finding it very hard to get used to wearing a watch again for the first time in more than seven years.
I love the exercise notifications I get. Reminders to stand up and it's encouraged me to go for a long (45m/1h) daily walk everyday since I've got it.
Apart from these things I just can't see the value in keeping this current Apple Watch for myself. I don't get pressing enough emails which I need to be notified about. I don't want to put up with apps which lag and i'm really surprised that developers haven't got native apps quite right yet.....but give them time.
It's difficult to know what to think about this Apple Watch. If Apple refused to take it back I'm sure i'd get more use out of it. But my plan is to use the refunded money to put it towards a 6S Plus iPhone which I think would be more useful to me over the next 12 months. I really want the Apple Watch to work but this is such an obvious first edition with both software and hardware limitations that i'm really okay with waiting for a more developed and sophisticated iteration to come from Apple. I salute those of you using the Apple Watch though, it's just not essential to me right now.
Can anyone recommend an app for the iPhone like the Apple Watch's Activity App. Is there such an app for the iPhone which has reminders for activity and measures your exercise on a daily basis? Please help.
If you bought it from the Apple Store you might fall under the holiday return period which started Nov 1st. All purchases from then on will be returnable until Jan 6th.I'm planning on returning mine tomorrow. I've only had it for nine days so I can still return it with the first 14 days of ownership, right?

so NO marks or wear on the watch what so ever?I received the SBSS from Cowboom and it arrived in almost new condition. The only real wear was on the sport strap and the box. The watch itself looked as if it was brand new. An added bonus was that the watch still has Apple Care on it, so it's covered until 2017. My recommendation is if you order a "fair" condition watch like I did, pick one that has a description that DOES NOT say it has scratches or a scratched screen.
Nope. Only wear was on the strap and packaging.so NO marks or wear on the watch what so ever?

Wish they took a BB gift card odd seeing as it's same company sort of.. Went and picked a brand new SBSS for $459 after tax just now. 549.99 - 5% coupon - $100gc + tax brings to $459 then factor in the 22% CB from apple pay and discover takes it down to $355ish.. So almost same price as cowboom list for a open box hmmmNope. Only wear was on the strap and packaging.
Agreed. I found the SS scratched very easily. The black ss doesn't for me.To the guy who said the SBSS is a scratch magnet... Really? I've had mine and banged it against so much stuff and have zero marks?? Now my SG and also SS that I had those were nightmares
I've had the Space Black for a couple of months and not a single dent or scratch on it, and I have been wearing it every single day.. Pretty impressed with it.Agreed. I found the SS scratched very easily. The black ss doesn't for me.
I just returned my 42mm Apple Watch Sport to Best Buy. While doing so the clerk asked me why I was returning it and I kinda had to think for a minute. I liked having it. I like getting notifications on my wrist. I like the information that was available simply by lifting my wrist. But the answer that I keep coming around to (why was I returning it?) was that it just didn't feel like it was worth $400. I can't explain it. I don't know why. I'm not exactly in the 1% but the $400 wasn't that big of a deal to me. The watch just didn't seem worth quite that amount. I'm also having a little buyers remorse regarding the purchase of my iPhone 6S but that's for another thread. Anyway, just my two cents.
