And I must agree with them. The show is fabulous (if you watch past episode 1)! I bet so-called critics would've given it high rates had it been an HBO production.
You need your father to know that? this is known from the beginning of jealousy and envy...they are both sins, and i already knew it since birthMy father was always saying that those who can't dance always say the floor isn't straight.
The Today Show had a segment last week where they bashed most of the shows or at least seemed less than enthused. Which isnt shocking considered The Morning Show is a direct take on the whole Matt Lauer situation. No, when you push your political agenda in the disguise of a TV show people call you out on it. That doesn't determine whether a show is good or not, but critics will not appreciate it.
Don't you think they know that?Next year consumers will have the choice of Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, Disney+, HBO Max, Peacock.......and then the microscopic blip Apple TV+.
I don't see Apple making any kind of dent with their tiny catalog.
Now this is funny. You know a small minority of motivated viewers took the time out to write a review, or more likely simply rate it with number of stars. That's not "knowing" the numbers at all.Of course there will be people who don't like the show! Huge numbers, though? No. Mostly MacRumors critics. But that isn't even in question. There's little point arguing over it, because we know the numbers: The audience rating is over 95%. Meanwhile, the critics rating is 63%. That's a 22% difference. There's definitely something wrong with the numbers.
If that was since conception then you could really brag about it.You need your father to know that? this is known from the beginning of jealousy and envy...they are both sins, and i already knew it since birth
I guess as much. The criticism likely came from people with an axe to grind, who then went to the press in an attempt to hurt Apple’s chances to win over future talent or content deals. I pointed out the apparent disconnect on rotten tomatoes some time back and it’s nice to see this point being corroborated here.

Moving forward, I believe that Apple TV+ has enough content to grab tens of millions of subscribers. Assuming an annual budget of 2 billion and the average customer paying $50 a year, the magic number is 40 million subscribers. Should be quite achievable for Apple.
Using a curated feed of content revolving around compelling storytelling to get users to watch the TV app, in turn promoting other tv bundles and earning the subscription revenue. Granted, there will be detractors who still can’t wrap their heads around Apple doing original content, and think Apple should still be working on routers and cinema displays, but I genuinely think Apple is on to something with Apple TV+ and the Apple TV app.
What product failure? And I think they’re referencing the critics, not the consumers.OR its simply not a good show ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I have no idea, as I'm not subscribing but it seems when people blame the consumer for their product failure they're missing the point
Personally, I judge movies etc by my own opinion of them.I always judge movies etc by the audience score, not the critics score.
It's actually not so black and white. They made the issue more complex than that as Mitch didn't really do anything wrong other than make bad choices. He just had a lot of consensual sex. He didn't coerce anyone. So far I watched 2 episodes of The Morning Show. It is well made but, so far, quite boring.
Is the show built around the #MeToo issue? I imagine the writers will struggle with this show, to write around this topic.
The other show I watched, also 2 episodes, is See. The show about blind people. I fell asleep watching this one. Watching blind people in battle is...booorrriiiinnnggg!
There is so much competition for viewing. Apple needs much better shows.
