Looks nice. I remember seeing it when it was still flash. It looks almost identical (as far as I remember anyways), except it isn't flash, which is a huge plus.

Thanks for the + :)
the whole Flash/no Flash debate has my head spinning a bit. I now learn you can view my site without Javascript enabled... Us non programmers cant win :p
im much happier with the new design although it is bulkier in bandwidth if you view every single page (which i doubt most do).

Single pages load faster now :)

Thanks

Hey guys, I just realized looking trough some sites created in i-Web and realized how most of them are look-alike and that I'm getting fed up with the i-web look of webpages allround!

So here's the competition:
Post links of website made in iWeb not looking like they're made in iWeb. The best one wins a great applause from me....;)

So for me to start here's my contribution:
www.martin_somora.szm.sk {I know it looks like it was made in iWeb!:( }

Just wanted to say thanks to you for starting this "competition". It got me to try iWeb for the first time! And I've learnt so much from this thread! Now I want to re-do my site again:)

Nicley done! Must have been quite painstaking though? Love your illustrations!

Thank you :)
one of my biggest peevs in iweb was that my custom navigation had to reload for every page even though it didnt change. This was semi resolved with use of frames. Apple could do so much more with this app...

I know exactly what you mean! iWeb has great potential, with a few tweaks here and there it could be a great and still simple piece of software.
The problem is that it treats each page like a whole new site, reloading everything each time you change page.
I hope they do a 2010 iWeb with some serious improvements.

I guess mine looks pretty iWeb... but is it that bad?

Can you give me some feedback on this please?

Thank you,

Charles

This is just my suggestion, take it or leave it.

I would completely re-do your site, and don't use Apples' templates. I would make a custom one if you have the time. It really is quite easy. Look around at other websites whose design you really like, and they use that a basis for your design.

? for moist production or background question.

is your grey image background with the cat eating the baby done in iweb or photoshop? how do u do it so it loads fast?

thanks

It's all black for me.

Try emptying your cache.

Don't use MobileMe. That's your problem. MobileMe is a big waste of money. Its not worth it at all.
