No not just you. I was thinking all the way through the presentation that they seemed to have forgotten that 3.5 years ago they released the MacBook with many of these same 'innovations'.Is it just me? Or does it look a lot like the 12-inch MacBook but with Touch ID?
True because the ram speed is still the slower MHz at the link I provided.
I feel it might’ve replaced it. They didn’t say anything about it replacing it though so I don’t know, they might have two almost identical laptops in the lineup now.No not just you. many other sources say it the y series processor though, the 5w variant.
Biggest concern is that it is a 13" MacBook really (5W CPU). Was hoping for a 15W Whiskey Lake CPU machine.
So Apple lied during the keynote, as the previous 1440x900 MacBook Air with every pixel quadrupled would be 2880x1800. Too bad, I was excited to see that resolution on a 13", as it would undoubtedly be coming to next year's MacBook Pros as well.13.3-inch (diagonal) LED-backlit display with IPS technology; 2560-by-1600 native resolution at 227 pixels per inch with support for millions of colors
I also believe that the mere fact that they created a keyboard with touch ID but no Touch Bar means the Touch Bar is dead in the future
I cant view your statement with anything other than skepticism and a giggle.
