Mine's still not on there. If the "24hrs before delivery time" thing is true, looks like mine won't arrive until later in the day tomorrow. Which is fine, as it'd be painful to know it's waiting for me at home all day while I'm stuck in the office.

I think this will be possible but I don't know if there are special rules for iStuff
I wouldn't bank on this working unfortunately , I've spoken to numerous delivery drivers in the past who have said Apple are notoriously strict about insisting delivery is signed for by someone at the delivery address
I haven't received an email but mine has updated to 'Preparing for shipment'

Please share useful information with others rather than simply gloating, as many of us are also keen to be able to track (and therefore have a better idea about delivery of) our orders.
Which numbers did you use from the Apple Shipment Status in which fields on the TNT tracker? Also, did you use GB or international tracker?

Yeah, well, mine won't have all those crazy "U"s in the spellings.... and it will say "Z" (as in zee) not zed.
Mine is being delivered by Synchreon so the info may be different but I used the additional order number provided by Apple, rather than the one quoted in all the emails, and it worked fine. Seems mine left Hinckley this morning and is now sitting in Birmingham. Strangely the delivery date has changed to 13 March...!

Interesting to note, on the TNT details page, my reference number is listed as the tracking number. So that may work too, if you tick reference.
Edit: That was clear as mud. My TNT reference number is the same as the "tracking number" as provided by the Apple tracking details page.

Good point - the consignment number is the one I got from the Apple telephone service.
Mine is finally tracking with TNT too.
I went to this page - http://www.tnt.com/webtracker/tracker.do?navigation=1&respLang=en&respCountry=GB&genericSiteIdent= and entered the 9 digit tracking code that I got from the automated Apple phone number (0800 0480408) in the box - it is the Consignment number FYI.

It also works from that webpage with the original 10 digit tracking number given via Apple's Tracking button and clicking on the Reference box (not the consignment number one).

Mine is collected and with UKMail.
I called them up to make sure they had a phone number for me if they couldn't find my house (happens a lot). Bloke was very helpful and as soon as I gave him the consignment number (began 30... from the UKMail tracking site) he knew it was an Apple item. Said they had quite a few iPads for tomorrow.
He asked me to give a heads up for the driver about where my house was (looked on google street view to confirm what I meant) and said he had a number for the driver to call me on if he had any doubts. He also said that he couldn't give me a delivery time but he said it definitely won't be after two pm so I should get it before then. I could phone them up tomorrow morning at 9am and he would ask the driver for a better estimate for me if I wanted. I'm in Norwich fwiw.
