Yup I knew that. The thing is when I actually ordered the ATV they hadn't updated the part number with the new version. Then on Friday I got an email saying that my order had been changed as "you can now have the new ATV as you'd ordered the old one" I think thats when the delay kicked in, probably too late for the early shipments.....great.

I wish you lot would calm the **** down. YOU WON'T BE GETTING THEM TODAY lol. Let the system work and you'll be stroking your new iPad tomorrow at some point.
 
I rang the apple freephone number 0800 048 0408, and the automated computer woman read me my UPS tracking number. Didn't help much as the UPS site just says: "A UPS shipping label has been created. Once the shipment arrives at our facility, the tracking status--including the scheduled delivery date--will be updated."
I was hoping to ask to collect it from their depo, but I don't think they will allow this until they've tried and failed to deliver it to you home first.
 
Mine says the same but at least UPS has the parcel which means its left Apples warehouse..
 
My delivery is coming with TNT & I'm not worried that I can't track it yet.

I do, however, find it odd that the automated Apple phone services has given me a totally different tracking number to the ones provided via their Track My Package link (it starts with an 8 but only has 9 numbers).

I'm starting to get that Apple Christmas Eve feeling :D:apple::D

lol same here, I got a totally different number from the "electronic lady". Wondering what could happen if I ask her to go out for a drink :D
 
I called apple to enquire about something else related to my order and while on the call the guy checked their internal tracking and was able to give me a specific time on my delivery tomorrow, although he said it should be taken as a rough estimate.

He also said TNT tracking should work 24hrs before the suggested delivery time/date, which in my case is around 4.19pm today.
 
Anyone know what shops are stocking the new iPad in Northern Ireland tomorrow apart from the actual apple store in Belfast?

Just checked UKMail. Showing as collected from Hinckley and for delivery tomorrow!!

Exciting times as it's my first iPad :D
 
finally got the correct tracking number online from Apple.
they will be delivered by UPS Express Saver which means it should be with me before noon tomorrow. yey :cool:
 
My UKMAIL tracking now shows as collected!

For those of you who don't have an Apple Store and use Stormfront. They still don't know what time they are opening for the launch.

How do you know it will be before midday? UPS site says that, for that delivery type, it is only committing to deliver during the business day rather before a specified time.

Have you checked your order lately? I'm also in Switzerland with March 19-21(but British so I can post here by proxy :D )
 
I just spoke to TNT customer services - apparently the tracking numbers will go live at some point after 6pm this evening. She also assured me that, as they're an overnight courier company, they will DEFINITELY be delivered tomorrow (but couldn't tell me what time).

Looks like I'll give up hitting refresh for a while and do some work for the afternoon... dagnamnit!
 
my iPad estimated delivery date has changed from the 16th to "Estimated Delivery Date (Subject to change) Mar 13, 2012"
If only it had already arrived =[ lol

It's being shipped by SYNCREON PARCEL DELIVERY and they say it arrived at their Birmingham terminal at 9 this morning.

Which of the numerous order refs/tracking numbers etc supplied by Apple registered?! I'm trying to submit all of them, but currently getting nothing like most people. Thanks.
