TNT had me very worried: Routing error, Exception etc.
Apple, at 12pm, said it'd be the 19th - after saying 16th all the way through.

But here it is.

If anyone's still waiting on a UK Mail delivery they do work late, I just spoke to my local delivery office...very helpful may I add

Drivers still out and should get it around 5-5.30pm but they work later

Congrats mate! Mine still hasn't shown up so I've all but given up hope :(
 
My new ipad has a scratch in the back of it out the box...about a mm wide, what dod i do, i cant be bothered to take it back.
 
Van just parked outside.. Northgate Vehicle Hire? Could not possibly be them could it?

Guess they might have needed some extra vehichles?

Yup.. it was them.. lol

Left Durham at 10:30. Took long enough since I am only 18 mins away.

So take note TNT are also using hire vans to deliver with. in Durham area they are using Northgate vehicle hire branded Vans.

Just checked the tracking UKMail said that they have been and dropped a card off. My wife was in and there is no card ... they aren't aswering their phones either :mad:
 
I just phoned TNT to enquire.

The extra demand have them working up to 6pm tonight and I've been assured mine should still arrive today.

Very frustrating...
 
Just spoke to TNT the guy said it can be delivered anytime up to 6pm,
He said if the driver falls behind time and only has a few delivery's left
he will deliver them, But if there's too many left he will go back to depot :rolleyes:
 
Typing this on it right now :D Came at about 2:30pm here in Derby.

Had a day off uni for nothing! I'd have been home to receive it, didn't know at the time :p

My TNT man left 3 iPads at the reception, no problem.
 
arrrgh

unbelievable, waiting all day and just got a phone call from TNT, apparently the van delivering mine (DL8 Postcode) has broken down.

I can go to the depot and collect (45 min drive) or they'll deliver tomorrow!!

I've got to go collect tomorrow. They say they did drop a card (which has somehow vanished) and that the drive won't be back before the reception closes tonight. Awesome.
 
UK Mail working 'til late

Mine arrived 4.30. Nice guy. We had a little chat. He'll still be delivering til 6.30 to get finished. It's the Perfect Storm of an Apple launch & Mother's Day that means they have huge numbers of deliveries on every van
