Mine shipped. I ordered my black 32GB 4G VZW iPad on the 8th around 11:45. It's sitting in Ontario, California waiting to be delivered to Los Angeles.
Ordered two black 32gb iPads the day of the keynote as soon as the site went live. Within the last 10 minutes I went to a SHIPPED status (of course the numbers don't show up on FedEx just yet). Yessss!! Like I said, I was never worried about them arriving on time, I was only worried once I read about unexplained cancellations here this morning. I'm in the ATL, Georgia area by the way.
Just got the case, and the FedEx guy told me this was his route T-Sa and that he usually is here around 10-12. I wonder how many other people are "grilling" their FedEx people today for general time information for Friday

over 2 days now and my fedex tracking ISNT working. 16gb White ATT 4g going to Austin TX
just spoke with Apple, they told me it is in florida, and is set to overnight they said that it wont work for another day or two. I know they know their stuff, but i feel like im the only person who cant get there fedex tracking to work! bah

If your iPad IS NOT engraved and you are still in processing or preparing for shipment 9 times out of ten your fine. Any iPad that is not engraved is already in the states and scheduled for overnight meaning you may not see anything until Thursday. Apple doesn't update anything unless it's necessary. I would call apple just to be sure for peace of mind. If your iPad IS engraved and hasn't shipped then you should be a little worried as engraved iPads ship from china. Either way a quick call could end your worries.
On a side not a damn ups rep told yesterday that my iPad would be shipped to my address today and got me all excited. I called again today and was told it is scheduled for march 16 as supposed to. Damn first rep got me all excited. Tracking shows it left Alaska on Saturday but ups told me its sitting in Kentucky waiting to move Thursday overnight to

Nope. My tracking number hasn't worked since Sunday when it shipped. I haven't called, but my situation doesn't seem unusual given the postings here...

I wouldn't count on it. It's pretty close by to you, no? Fedex/UPS is pretty well trained to handle something like an iPad launch...I'm sure holiday season is much worse. But of course, where there are screw ups during the holiday season, there will be screw ups here (possibly), with some iPads arriving early.
My iPad is sitting just a few miles away from where I live, but I'm not counting on getting it early. It's not like they can't handle this. Where your package is right now doesn't matter, I personally do not think it is indicative of someone receiving their package early.
ahh okay, mine shipped on sunday as well. it seems a bit unusual to me. It seems most people dont have issues with tracking.
