FedEx says it was a system glitch and no delivery attempt has been made and the package will definitely by delivered today. also the progress bar in the tracking page shows in red :(.

somebody please tell me what this means. also is anybody facing the same issue?

sounds like FedEx already told you what it means...
 
Mine just got here ten minutes ago. I figured if I started to watch a movie I had been meaning to see the the FedEX truck would show up. Worked like a charm!

Mine did the same thing.....check your "delivered by" time. Mine was by 10pm and when I received that messge 10minutes ago and checked status, it now says by 7:30pm.

happy bday!! I'm waiting for my bday gift to arrive. The big 30 tomorrow!
 
Had mine delivered to my parents house as they NEVER leave home. The ONE FRIGGIN day they decide to up and leave and now I have to go pick it up from the FedEx hub :(

Oh well, at least I'll still get it today, just not as quickly as I would've liked.
 
Mine showed up at 1:30, as always. Good ol' reliable FedEx. Wow the screen is amazing. Totally worth the upgrade.
 
I can calm down now. Mine just got delivered 5 minutes ago. I was about to call either Apple and/or FedEx and complain when I saw the truck pull up. Those of you who are still waiting, have faith and don't act like I did. I am EXTREMELY impatient!
 
Yay! FedEx just pulled up with mine. He couldn't get the gate opened; good thing my dog acts as a doorbell so I could go out for it.

He handed me the signature pad and said, "Your new toy?" Haha!

Time to open it up!

Still waiting

So many trucks passing by and not one UPS. It's 11:32 am and I'm hoping the UPS will be here before noon as they said on their website for UPS Worldwide Express although on the tracker it still say by end of the day so, no sweat but I'm still hoping before noon so my day off would not have gone to waste :D

Anybody else waiting for their delivery in San Diego, CA?
