I'm in Lake Havasu City. Looks like they trucked them today. Fedex usually flies the shipment here each morning but after speaking at length with a FedEx rep this morning it looks like the shipments today are so numerous they had to use a truck.
Speaking of that rep he said they were briefed on this day over a week ago but that it is turning out crazier than expected. Yet he didn't seem pressed for time (it was like he did not want to get off the phone).

Mine near Portland, OR changed to this also. Called Fedex and they said it will be delivered today but no idea when.
Interesting. I'm in PDX (Multnomah Village to be exact) and mine shows as on truck, out for delivery by 3:00pm. The truck usually hits my neighborhood around noon. My iPad 2 came at 11:30. I fully expect the 3 to arrive any minute.
Fedex went from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm today but it arrived at 12:00 noon. GO FIGURE...
Oh well, at least it is here...

Weird, but the new iPad feels a lot nicer to hold than the iPad 2. Maybe because of the added weight or because I haven't used one without a case for a long time.

Apparently there's three FedEx delivery trucks serving my area - weird, but this at least explains why the first one didn't drop it off. I'm slightly relieved...

UPS just delivered at 9:45am this morning, he told me that his truck is full of these boxes and this is about all he has been delivering. Good for Apple.

I got mine at about 11:20 AM. I was off about an hour on time. He was about an hour late, but that was most likely due to having to make a lot more stops.
Mine arrived about an hour ago, and aside from a few issues with my apple id (I changed it recently and it is being a tad fussy), I'm pretty well pleased. I'm also happy that it arrived at 11 rather on the later side of their estimate, though that means I have no hope of being productive anymore today...
After my birth day dinner I expect I'll try to go to best buy and pick up a smart cover and a rear shell.

I called FedEx yesterday and requested customer pickup. Got to FedEx at 8:30 and I had my iPad in hand by 8:45. This is my first cellular version of the iPad and the 4g is just awesome! The screen is absolutely beautiful! I haven't tried teat hearing to my work laptop yet but im looking forward to it.
